Easy to put together if you read the instructions and WAIT until all bolts are threaded to completely tighten them. Took 90 minutes for my boyfriend to do it. Yes the massager only vibrates but I’ve never purchased a massager that didn’t just vibrate. The massager on this is VERY pleasant. It vibrates in waves that make it actually feel as though you are getting a deep tissue massage. When added with the heat, it helps relieve tension. I bought this inversion table because I was getting pinched nerves causing excruciating pain to the point where if I breathed in deep it would feel as thought a knife was cutting straight through my ribs to lower back. I was also experiencing sciatica that made it hard to walk. I have pinched nerves from herniated discs in my neck and lower back. It does not help my neck, but it helps my lower back. At first I had to use it everyday. Then my condition got to the point where I could use it every other day, which is where I’m at now. I don’t feel like I’m going to slip or fall out like some people had mentioned and it’s very sturdy. I would purchase this as a gift for someone in pain, that’s how great it is. 15 min a day is all you need. I have suffered from chronic back pain since my late twenties and am now 65. Lower back pain has been my issue most of the time but the last few years my neck has begun to give me severe pain also. Usually a chiropractic adjustment or deep tissue massage fix me up for a while until the next time I overdue the it. I've been looking to buy an inversion table for some time now but did not know what kind or how much to spend. I did some research and found a person who rated the top ten best inversion tables he tested. He rated this one #2 which surprised me because of the low cost. However it is well built and sturdy. It did take a little time to put together but that was not an issue for me. It will fold up so you can store but no way to fasten it into that position, nothing a few Velcro strips won't remedy. I found the Lombard massage and heat pad to be a definite plus that many more expensive models don't have. And by the way this pad is removable and can be used anywhere within 10 ft from an electrical outlet. It also has several massage settings. I have been using this inversion table for 4 days now and have noticed a definite reduction in pain. I can now sleep on my back for more than 15 minutes without my hands going numb and the sciatica and the neuropathy in my feet has been greatly reduced. I stand up a lot straighter now and my overall back pain is much lower. The key to success with this product is use it in short intervals but several sessions rather than visa versa. I am still at 45 degree inversion and this works for me. The important thing is to let your body tell you when you've had enough. Typically my limit is 5 to 10 minute per session.     • Seems to take edge off back pain
On my third day with this, so far, so good. First, however, let me say that whoever wrote that this assembles out of the box in 30 minutes...How can I say this politely? --That's baloney! While I may not be the type who can overhaul a car engine in the driveway, I do know my way around my tools and your average assembly instructions. Prepare to spend a good chunk of your evening getting the many pieces that come in the box all put together. And there are at least a few instances where it really helps to have a partner. That said, no major frustrations. Just a lot more than "30 minutes" (which, come to think of it, might have been written in an 'incentivized' review??) Anyway, here's what you came to find out: This inversion table is easy to figure how to use, operates smoothly and feels secure, and most importantly, seems to be helping my lower back from the get-go. Nothing dramatic, but noticeably less stiffness in my lower back which had given me occasional tightness issues throughout my 40's, and has been pretty bad most mornings (or after prolonged sitting) now that I'm in my 50's. On days when I'm not moving around, it can be tight all day. But this Labor Day weekend I've been hopping on and inverting about twice a day and feel better. A morning inversion seems to last until the evening, when I use it again. About 5 minutes each time. Haven't tried full inversion yet (there are both 85-degree and 90-degree settings), the 75-degree tilt has been enough. Also, I slightly injured my jaw recently and the pressure on it is plenty at 75-degrees. I'll try 90 degrees when my jaw is all better. Though it's only been three days, I think buying this was worth it. No SHAZAAM moments, but I'm satisfied with how my back feels perceptively better during the course of the day. ... show more

I purchased this almost a year ago. It came quickly and was not too difficult for me to assemble. I had to make a few adjustments, but was able to get it corrected. I have always wanted an inversion table, and this is wonderful. It is very well made, sturdy, comfortable and easy to use. I use it 3-5 time a week and have had no issues with it. The padding and the removable massager pillow are well made and not cheaply made. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats in the house so it sees many paws and is used as perch when I'm not using it. I worried the cats may claw it up, but there is no tearing or holes after 8 months. So if you are looking for an inversion table to help with posture, back problems or balance in your life, this is a very tiny price to invest VS chiropractic care at $100.00 per visit. ... show more
