The media could not be loaded. Do not buy this product! My oven took weeks to arrive, and once it finally did, I was instructed to install the ink to start running the machine. However, during the nozzle check, the ink was not correct. They had to send me new ink cartridges, but even after I installed those, the machine still wouldn't print properly. I spent hours on WhatsApp with someone in Hong Kong, but they couldn't assist me until 7 PM my time (MT). I was so excited to get this machine, but it has turned into a nightmare. Now I'm expected to be a mechanic and take the machine apart and put it back together! Oh, I forgot to mention the best part: I got a chemical burn while trying to flush out the head. The technician reassured me that it's okay because other techs use it every day and that I would be fine, but my hands are on fire! ... show more

It arrived days earlier than expected. Srtip was easy until i ran into 1 little snag, 2 of my cartridges would not click back in. I setup an appointment and Aria was great. She had me to send videos of what I was doing. She gave the the fix which hmm idk if I like but I worked. I had to put something behind the cartridges basically to make a tighter fix which allowed them to snap back in. She did Team Viewer into my computer to help me finish the software setup. I haven't pressed anything yet but the test image looks great. ... show more

So far after testing for about 3 weeks, this has been a solid printer. Had to do the first real cleaning today since the white started to be very faded, simple wipe of cleaner on the print head using a paper towel in a "shoe shine" motion and clean the wiper. Was about to do a "deeper" clean by hooking up a bottle of cleaner to all the nozzles, and do a nozzle clean every 10 minutes. BUT....after the simple wipe, it's printing like new again. Why 4 stars? 1. Not a fan of their support methods, you have to install whatsapp to talk to support. *if you get past that small hurdle, they were helpful and have fixed any issues so far Have not needed to request any returns, or replacement parts so can't speak about that. 2. I contacted AcroRIP to try and get an updated version, and they said InkSonic is not an authorized dealer and the version they supply is a Pirated version, so they can't offer any updates. True or not? either way, Inksonic need to get that sorted cause Legit businesses need properly licensed software. 3. The metal plate next to the ink waste bottle was bent, and had to be adjusted with pliers so the bottle could be removed. 4. After a print you have to wait for the printhead to lock before you can advance the paper, not a big issue really 100% recommend this printer over trying to convert an inkjet printer such as the ET-8550, which we tried and nothing but issues. Really 4.5 stars at this time - let's see 6 months+ later ... show more
