    • Good Build Quality, Suction, Ease of Use for First-timer!

NOTE: Full disclosure, this is a compensated review, but that doesn't change the quality of the product. The requirement was simply that I review it honestly. I had been looking for vacuum sealers for a bit of time, and had already used InkBird products before, so I figured that I would give this one a shot. Its nice and straightforward for a first-timer like myself. Easy to understand modes, alignment of the bag, etc. It's a comparatively light unit from a weight perspective. My dad has a vacuum sealer and it's much heavier, but this one performs just as well if not better. The suction is more than sufficient to perform the vacuum sealing that I performed. Note that I did not try on anything wet, only dry sealing. I originally paid $80 for the unit, and I feel that it's a fair price given all that comes in the box. Right now I've only just sealed a few items and they're in my freezer, but they aren't discolored at all and the seal held strong. I'm pretty impressed with the build quality. The aluminum/plastic construction feels solid in the hands and even has a good "chunk" when you close the cover properly indicating a good seal. Overall, I really like the product. The ONLY thing that concerns me is the rather ominous, "Vacuum 200 Times Continuously". I'm not sure if this is a thing with all vacuum sealers, but I will not be happy if after 200 uses it just stops working. This is my ONLY reason for giving it 4 stars. ... show more
