I've been very happy with my Inkbird 4 channel thermometer the last few years so this seemed like a good choice for a food sealer. It is now a very useful tool in my toolchest for my smoker and it has not disappointed me. It has been 25 plus years since I used a food sealer but this one was pretty easy to figure out. I was skeptical, but the little window is really useful in making sure it's lined up properly. Its not as important with flat things but this time I had some big blocks of cheese I smoked and they would have been really tricky to line up without the window because of how the plastic "pulls" with those big pieces in there. All things considered, it's pretty quiet, it does make some noise but no more really than my Keurig forcing some coffee through a pod. Overall another good Inkbird product.

The Inkbird Vacuum Sealer works great. It comes with 5 precut bags and a 10' roll. It also comes with an extra seal and tube for mason jars. I read some reviews saying it was really noisy. It's really not that bad. It does a great job getting the air out of the bags and seals well. Very happy with the vacuum sealer and ease of use. The bag cutter works well also. I definitely recommend it 👍

Got it today and ran a few tests. I sealed a bag of ice, some hard candy in a resealable bag, and, if you have that white thing in my photo you can reseal Mason jars. Yes I can mason jars. This sealed the jar tighter then my pressure caner. No it is not the same as proper caning it but does extent fridge time. I'm single and buy bulk (big jars, large packages) then break it down into smaller useful sizes. Large jar of tomato sauce becomes 3-4 half pint masons. So on and so forth. For somethings it's easier to cook a vat and can, then cooking from scratch everyday. All the seals came out air tight and seem really good. I'm very impressed. This vacuum sealer checks all my boxes with it's options. The roll storage in the machine is wasted space and I would rather it be smaller. That is not a big deal as overall this sealer is a reasonable size and smaller then most. I hope it lasts more then few years before breaking. Time will tell.

So I was thoroughly impressed when this arrived. It was packaged securely in a box that could double as a storage container and the handle would make it easy to transport. Unboxing it was like most things manual, power cord, roll of bags, a gasket, and some smaller things. I put it right to work out of the box. Most of the items were not frozen as some other brands might ask you to do before sealing and I ran it continuous instead of the waiting 20 seconds between sealing like another name brand would suggest. The seals had no problem as I checked each one for leakage. In total I sealed 10 lbs of hamburger meat, 3 lbs of a wet chicken marinade wings, 1 lb of turkey sausage, and 2 large roasts cut down to a portion for the house hold. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking the best bang for their buck. Goodbye Foodsaver hello InkBird!!!!!!!

Honestly, I've had it for a while now. It worked on a few small things originally, but honestly, it is absolute garbage. I try to troubleshoot it by cleaning the seal. But at the end of the day, this thing is a piece of trash. You get what you pay for my brother. In-law has one that was 3 times as expensive. And it works fine, don't waste your money

The media could not be loaded. I posted a video of unboxing the vacuum sealer so you can see everything you get with it. I got this so I could vacuum seal smoked salmon and other meats before freezing to extend the storage life. Right away I noticed the high quality of the vacuum sealer. It’s a solid, heavy duty machine. The instructions were pretty basic (like only 4 steps). But it turns out that it is so easy to use there really wasn’t a need for more instructions. The first item I tried was a piece of salmon. The machine has a nice cutter built into it to cut the bag to the right size. Sealing the end of the bag took less than 10 seconds!! Then I dropped a piece of salmon in and the rest of the vacuum and seal took about 20 seconds. The unit has a nice countdown clock, so you know exactly how long it will take. Using this machine was simple. There was no assembly or setup; I literally took it out of the box and sealed my first piece of food in a few minutes. The thing I like is that the unit is compact and will be easy to store when not in use. It also came with an accessory hose attachment that will connect to a wine bottle top I guess. Pretty cool. I’ll have to look into the wine stoppers that go into this accessory.

This INKBIRD food vacuum is simple to use and does a great job. You can read the instructions (if you want to dive into all of its capabilities) - but operating it is pretty easy out-of-the-box. It comes with individual food bags for quick use, and a roll of food bags for jobs of any size. The five buttons on top of the food vacuum are clearly labeled - DRY VAC & SEAL, MOIST VAC & SEAL, SEAL, PULSE, and STOP. PULSE allows you to manually control the vacuum, the other buttons are pretty self explanatory. While I found this food sealer to be pretty much plug-and-play, it also has additional features like a suction hose for compatible Tupperware. Also - it looks pretty cool in low light. A sleek metal machine with LED's and a "windshield". If you like clean aesthetics in your kitchen, this is for you.
