This intake is wonderful! It was an easy install (If you know what you're doing) and looks extremely clean! If you have any questions on install, product fitment or anything else feel free to ask! This cold air intake really pulls the vehicle especially during colder conditions. I noticed a minor drop in low end power but nothing that stepping on the gas won't fix. The pull is incredible compared to my old short ram set up. This intake is designed perfectly for this vehicle and I would recommend this over any cheap versions out there. Remember cheap is just to fit, costly is to specifications and tuned. Check out the pictures of the install! I also purchased the Hydroshield for this system. Injen: X-1037. Hydro shield is shown in the picture. Please also note, Injen does not release these filters oiled anymore. They are now EA Nanofiber dry flow filters. They may want to update this description. Perfect fit for my 2005 G! This product does come with the air filter that does not use the filter oil. I might change the Injen to K&N filter as I am a big fan and the K&N filters are less restrictive due to the fact that these do need to be re-oiled when cleaned. I also decided to convert this into a short-ram style intake. I just don't trust my intake being so low to the ground and I don't want to use any filter sock or anything like that. Also makes it much easier for me to access the filter when I need to. All in all this is a great intake and easy to install. took me like 45 minutes but I was taking my time. Throttle response did improve but I am idling a tad bit low, not a big deal to me though. ... show more

If you are doing to do this make sure you get the essentials before hand. Plenum spacer, 75mm throttle body with the spacer. The car doesn't even sound the same anymore which is a beautiful thing. When you hear the engine suck in that air and redline you get a chill as the mph climb. No regrets get that done wish it was already installed on the car when I got it. ... show more

The product is amazing. This is probably the biggest intake filter (in a good way). Sits a little close to the AC line(but doesn't touch) . when driving The VQ already has a whistle sound. The intake makes that sound much louder. You will love this intake. Just remember disconnect the NEG battery terminal then you can disconnect the MAF. Shipping was great. The instal was about 1hour30mins total and well worth the time. I love the response it gives with the new intake WOW! It screams when I accelerate it and people can't help it but to turn and look.... Don't mess around with other brands go with the best Injen!
