This is the second truss/belt I’ve had and it’s the one I’ll keep and continue to wear. It has a “grippy” inside surface so it stays in place so I’m not adjusting straps and or hiking the truss up, down or back into place all day. It’s unilateral so it will work on either side. The single strap going between your legs is fully adjustable so it doesn’t wind up feeling like you’re wearing a thong. Maybe some people like that but it’s not my thing. The one I had previously is a double strapped truss and both straps were constantly needing to be extracted from you know where. You will know you’re wearing this truss but it’s not terribly uncomfortable. There can be some chafing if worn against your skin but it definitely stays in place wearing it in this fashion. It could absolutely be the best device out there if it had some sort of hem or boarder stitching to conceal the edges and Velcro. Other than that this is working perfectly to keep my hernia inside during strenuous exercise and activities. Between this device and developing a better core routine I should be able to recover enough to not need surgery. I’m a bodybuilder of 40 years so this allows me to get back into my sport without needing the surgery. This is my goal but maybe not yours. The only time my hernia pops out is during heavy squats but once I’m standing upright again it goes right back inside. The company is very responsive to any inquiry you might have. I’ll probably end up getting two so I can alternate them when one is being washed. The pads are perfectly functional and do exactly what they are intended to do. It’s a keeper.

When it comes to this type of product, it really depends a lot on the location of the problem, the extent of the problem and the fit of the device. For me this worked well most of the time, but there were times I'd reach for another device. It comes with two different shaped pads that can be positioned in numerous directions, so it does offer a lot of flexibility. My only complaint is the rubberized surface on the inside can make it difficult to pull up and position, but then it does stay in place. I will say though that you should use this as short a period of time as possible, because surgery, preferably quick recovery robotic surgery, is the ultimate solution. This device can make the condition bearable, but it is unlikely to make it better in the long term, unless maybe the condition is minor. I would say though

I had an inguinal hernia about twelve years ago, and have kept in shape ever since, but a month ago I started to feel a “giving” sensation where the surgery was performed. Fearing the risk of a tear, I purchased this belt, and it has taken care of the problem—it pushes into the surgery area making everything feel safe and in place. I would highly recommend this product.

This maker supplies two support pads. I was impressed with the Uriel but this one surpasses in comfort. The extra pad is more fluffy and holds in place in total security. Very impressed and can safely recommend it. A five star item.

I've only owned one hernia belt aside from this one, so I can only compare it to that one. The one that I lost. I actually wish I had ordered the same one as before but for some reason this one looked as though it might be better and offer more support than the other. But looks can be deceiving. I mean it's not a horrible product or anything like that, it does work at times. But just not as much as the other one I had. But it's certainly better than not having anything.... Sometimes. Other times it actually makes the pain worse for some reason. Just not the best fit for my particular needs I suppose. It's ok though.

I guess I would tell the seller of this product to offer pictures of a man or woman that has a midsize belly ,I wore this this morning for two hours Iam 74 168 lbs 5ft8.5 inches with a midsize belly .My opinion, it is not for every day use but to use it if you plan on lifting medium to heavy weights for a short period of time I can see it benefits.Plus the different size of pads do hurt when you bend forward to pick something off the ground or sittng and leaning forward.For me I could not wear all day
