I have not tried any other trusses, so I have no basis for comparison, but I can't imagine any other truss being any better than this one. Affordable, well made, and does what it's supposed to. My inguinal hernia was to the point of sticking out all the time. It was uncomfortable to say the least. This product held it in place all day (I'm a carpenter) and never needed readjustment. Pain free when I wore it. The only "modification" I did was wrap a small piece of t-shirt around the underside strap to keep it from chafing. And you do need to utilize that strap - it is what holds the truss against your body. Highly recommend it.

Took some getting used to but really helped. Rides low do you may have to hike it up occasionally. Easy to wear with shorts. Mowed the lawn and played 9 holes of golf with no issues.

A game changer for me. Held my hernia in place even with activity and exertion. I had a bad inguinal hernia that protruded quite a bit. I kept pushing it back in, but it would pop out quickly with even mild exertion. The surgeon recommended a truss while I waited for surgery. I tried this based on reviews and am delighted. Easily adjusts to the exact position I wanted. Fits under clothes. The two different pads are a bonus. They help you select the right amount of force to hold the hernia in place. I measured myself at 44 inches which is right between the two sizes. I got thee L-XL and it fits great. It could easily work down to at least size 40.

This belt is okay if you are walking or standing, but when you sit down it's so uncomfortable around your waist that you can't sit for long, unless you take it off. Maybe in time it will be more flexible but so far I am sorry I bought this one.

I am amazed at how much this belt has relieved my pain. I went to the ER ~a week ago thinking I was having an appendicitis but was told I had a hernia. I am waiting for n appointment to be evaluated by a surgeon and I am hearing that the surgery scheduling typically takes another 3-4 weeks. I could not picture tolerating the discomfort and pain for that long so I sought out things to reduce the pain and ordered this belt to try it out. I am so glad I found this as it has so dramatically reduced my pain, there are moments that I feel pretty much pain free. In general I think my pain has been reduced by at least 75%. It is pretty easy to put on and the velcro is completely adjustable. I thought the crotch strap would be very annoying but I barely notice it. The belt itself does dig in a little but tucking a shirt in helps quite a bit. I sometimes take it off while watching tv and the pain does dome back so I know it is effective. I generally wear it over a pair of lounge pants while at home but it is possible to fit under a pair of pants. I really think the ER doctors should tell us about these as it has made a very big difference in my ability to tolerate the pain.

Fits great and can do any daily activity while wearing it. The velcro wrap holds in place and it’s an improvement over other belts with the leg through strap since it goes through a ring then attaches to itself on the underside. One downside is the giant foam egg that comes with it. Excessively oversized and not practical. It should at least be flat on one side. I made my own pad out of soft foam egg carton shaped packing material & cut to size. 5 stars for function once that was done, 4 because the manufacturer didn’t come up with it.

Okay, I was dubious when I ordered, but desperate to get some relief so that i could work and workout until I was able to have the surgery. I am a personal trainer and work and workout everyday. This is my life and livelihood. When I first noticed the hernia I was unaware of what it was until one day it popped. For the next 3 weeks it became more and more of a problem each and everyday. Unable to stand for too long, pass my clients weights and of course lift myself... I was extremely disheartened and concerned as I do not have time to waste... I ordered the belt from Amazon and thought of it was no good I could return it.. Let me tell you that this thing saved me, I am not being dramatic, I just felt better each and everyday. It is not a cure or will not heal the hernia, surgery is the only way but I can function and keep active until I have the surgery. Thank you so much for this product and if you are sceptical just buy it and try it.. I wear over my underwear and under my shorts and it conceals perfectly. Perfect product and life saver.....
