  • Very Good Air Hammer!
Style: Kit
Picture this: You're standing in your garage, the smell of motor oil in the air, and your faithful Snap-On air hammer finally gives up the ghost after years of faithful service. Enter the Ingersoll Rand Air Hammer, strutting in like the tool equivalent of a rock star ready to show everyone how it’s done. First off, let's talk about power. The Ingersoll Rand doesn't just hammer—it *hammers*. If Thor decided to give up his day job and get into DIY, this is the tool he’d wield. It's got so much power, I swear I saw it loosen a bolt just by glaring at it. Snap-On? More like Snap-Off, as in “snap off to the side and let the real tool work.” And let's not forget about durability. This thing could survive a nuclear apocalypse, the rise of the machines, and my mother-in-law’s holiday fruitcake—all at once. The Snap-On, meanwhile, looks like it might faint if it sees a particularly stubborn piece of rust. But the real kicker? The sound. The Ingersoll Rand Air Hammer roars like a lion asserting dominance over the entire savanna, whereas the Snap-On sounds like a cat with a cold. I mean, who wouldn’t want their neighbors to know they’re wielding a tool of sheer awesomeness every time they need to chisel or cut? Versatility is another win for the Ingersoll Rand. It's like the Swiss Army knife of air hammers—whether you're doing precision work or unleashing chaos, it's got your back. The Snap-On? It's more like a rusty nail file in comparison. Finally, let’s talk ergonomics. The Ingersoll Rand fits in your hand like it was meant to be there, like Excalibur in the hands of King Arthur. The Snap-On, on the other hand, feels like gripping a half-cooked spaghetti noodle. In conclusion, the Ingersoll Rand Air Hammer isn't just a tool—it's a statement. It's a battle cry. It's the kind of air hammer that makes other tools in your garage weep with inadequacy. Snap-On? Snap out of it. The king has arrived, and it goes by the name of Ingersoll Rand. PS - Get the Amazon extended warranty through Asurion. You probably won't need it, but it's a worthy investment. If this ever breaks or fails within your warranty period, you fill in a simple form, they send you a prepaid shipping label, you just need to find a box and they email you a gift card code for your full purchase amount. I had a die grinder I had to warranty and it was incredibly easy to do. ... show more

  • Solidly built and hammers hard
Style: Bare Tool
Absolutely worth the price. I was unable to remove D-bolts from an upper control arm. Completely seized in place. To save a few bucks, I purchased the Ingersoll Rand 114GQC and it did not have enough force. Hammered on the bolts relentlessly and the did not break free at all. Never even moved. Before giving up and cutting into the control arm and bushing, I went ahead and invested in the 135Max. Completely worth it. When I picked it up, you could just feel that this hammer was better built and had some “umph”. Hooked it up, pulled the trigger, and bolts didn’t stand a chance. They instantly broke free and came right out. I couldn’t believe it. Very satisfied with performance of this tool. ... show more

  • An excellent air hammer.
Style: Kit
This replaces my old Snap On air hammer; which was about 40 years old. It has been on its last legs for a while and Snap On could not rebuild it. I did not want to spend Snap On money again for a tool that likely was little, if any, better.

  • Honest opinion
Style: Bare Tool
Definitely a power house! I use it on my bull dozer often. It blowers my other air hammers away, I have a snap on & a Matco. It’s like comparing a ford focus to a muscle car.

  • Worth Money
Style: Bare Tool
2+ weeks trying to get center link out of pitman arm - pickle fork - useless - broke 6 tie rod separators with no luck. Next step was to remove steering box but decided to try this air gun with pickle fork attachment. Within 3 minutes center link dropped out. Excellent tool which I intend to use on other repairs. worth money ... show more

  • Expensive and inefficient boat anchor.
Style: Kit
Added oil, an air fitting, put it in my tool box and threw away packaging. Used it 2 times and it stopped working. Could not exchange because I threw away packaging. 0⭐️ Just get a quality air hammer off of the tool truck. They don't need the packaging to replace the tool.

  • Hard hitting hammer
Style: Bare Tool
I bought this to replace a cheaper air hammer that I had for years that was to weak drive out the rivets. This hammer knocked out the rivets easily. If you need a hard hitting hammer this the one to use.
