Hey friends, I bought these after scoping other reviews and seeing these in some Jeep forums. I installed them on my front bumper in combination with the optional wiring harness / relay / switch kit available from this brand. Result - AWESOME. Packaging and instructions are both very good and well organized. All hardware is included for mounting with high quality brackets and hex cap screws and bolts. They also include washers and NyLock nuts for the main bracket mounts - SWEET. The brackets are designed to allow for a large swing of up and down adjustment with a main anchor bolt and adjustment locking screw on both sides of each light. I used a small level on top of each light to set mine such that they matched exactly and projected parallel with the ground. The light cubes themselves are really well built and the weatherproofing in particular seems highly engineered and designed to last in exposed use. For wiring, the cable lengths were perfect, really quality components and connections, weather sealed and very well put together. Install was simple ( you should be comfortable with wire routing, working under the hood and stuff ) and I finished the project in about an hour with basic hand tools. Note: I chose to remove a section of my Jeep's dash facia under the steering wheel and drilled a 1 inch hole in it for the light switch. Turns out that was a good place with just enough clearance for the back of the switch cylinder and attached wires. With the fascia back in place the switch is out of the way, but easy to get to and has a clean finished appearance. The switch included with the optional harness is a round rocker style switch, red in color, and lights up when switched on! What of the beams? Well, when they say amber, they mean AMBER. The beams are bright and throw a lot of light forward and are very orange / amber in color. These are not the same shade as say, your turn signals, or the classic yellow-amber incandescent fog-lights from brands like Hella, or PIA. These are a deeper orange than you might be expecting. Pattern of output? I wouldn't call these "narrow" or "focused" beam lights, more of an area throw, but the beams push way out ahead of you. The great part about the deeper amber is that these are perfect for cutting through snow or rain and are easy on your eyes, while they make sign posts and road reflectors really stand out in the distance. Please note, that buying these lights alone - they do not come with a wiring harness, only their plug-in tails on the back of each module. If you don't feel like making your own harness, you will want to order the "RUN-D Universal LED Light Wiring Harness Kit." I would have preferred this all came together as a kit, but I also appreciate for those of us on a budget that they could reduce cost by breaking out the wiring harness option if you wanted to just make your own harness and save the money. Basically it makes the lights more affordable. That said, the wiring harness is of superb quality and value in my opinion. It includes all cabling clad in black poly-sheathing, a pre-wired 30 Amp relay, pre-wired illuminated switch, pre-terminated weather proofed connector ends that plug right into the light's tails, and pre-terminated power leads for direct connect to the battery with ring terminals. Because of its finished appearance - it looks totally factory stock after install - can't even tell its there if you don't know what to look for. I like that. Check your local laws to verify these are street legal if that is your intended use. These are great for off-road use or in bad weather on-road in my opinion.     • Excellent lights for the Price

Just installed these today. They are awesome. I am using as driving/fog lights and they may actually throw out too much light to be used for on-road. Compared to the PIAA 55W/H3 fog lights that these replaced, its literally night an day difference with these WAY out performing those old PIAA lights. Although I am comparing H3 to LED here, PIAA does make LEDs but at nearly three times the price of these. Pros - Nice heavy duty aluminum case, black painted?, Bright white (not yellow), very very bright. Stainless mounting bolts, nice bracket, electric lines wrapped in additional rubber coating, reverse polarity protection (it works because I checked). Cons - Two different allen bolt heads, Their plug is not universal so get their wiring kit for the $19. (I didn't because I cut off the PIAA plug and soldered those on to avoid additional wiring), and, it may be a long term issue with where the wiring enters the metal housing as it does not appear to be waterproofed well. This can only be tested after several months of weather in the Northwest has elapsed. Overall these are an Awesome light for the price. It doesn't say whether the 35 Watts is per pair or per light. I suspect per pair so the amp draw on these would be about 3 amps - Very low draw which is one of the main reasons to go LED. If per light, it still only means 6 amps. I am using a 10 Amp fuse with both lights wired through a single line at the moment and have no issues with power. Will likely buy more of these in the future! ... show more

    • Very Well Built and High Quality LED Cube lights

Very heavy and robust housing and mounts for these high quality LED cube lights. I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality at this price point. No, they're not cheap but not the most expensive either. I did add a couple of stainless flat washers for the bolt ( which came in package as stainless with a stainless locking nut) 13mm nut and head on the bolt supplied. Also added external locking "star" washers for the tilt adjusting stainless 5mm hex adjusting screws. Seemed to bite much better afterwards while adjusting the degrees of the light set ups. Would recommend that you do the same. Used some blue loctite also on the threads to avoid any vibration loosening over time. Chose the Amber LED's which totals 7 in each light. These amber fog lights are very very bright and very functional in cutting through the fog and mist. Installed 4 in a Hammerhead custom front bumper. These lights did EXCEED my expectations in both build quality and in power output. Very high Quality mounting hardware was also included in these sets of 2. Highly recommend their matching wiring harness that is also available here on Amazon. I'm not disappointed in any way after purchasing and installing these high quality Amber cube lights.     • Very nice aux lights

After trying some less expensive lights and having to replace them twice under warranty, I decided to give these a try. I like the way the LED are set as a round pattern in a square housing. It gives them a different look for the standard cheaper variety, The mounts are high quality and fully adjustable. The lights are superb. I wanted spot vs flood, which is somewhat hard to come by. These do have some light escaping the spot pattern, but are much closer to spot than anything else I've seen. They are very bright. I hooked them up to come on with my high beams, which may not be strictly legal, but is highly functional. I used a weather tight quick disconnect plug so they can be easily disconnected as needed for safety inspections or otherwise. A high quality , high function LED auxiliary light option! ... show more
