This is honestly one of the best toasters I have ever used. It has all the functions I would want from a good toaster: it toasts evenly, works fast, has enough power, fits thicker slices of bread, and includes a small warming rack for croissants, pastries, or smaller pieces of bread. The defrost and reheat buttons are useful, and the removable crumb tray makes cleanup easy. I also like that the cord stores neatly underneath, which helps keep the counter cleaner. The floral design is beautiful and looks very nice from a distance. It adds a lot of personality to the kitchen and is much more decorative than a regular toaster. The only thing to note is that the outside casing is made of plastic, and up close it does look a little cheaper than I expected for a toaster in this price range. However, the plastic exterior does stay cool while in use, which I really appreciate. Also, if the exterior were metal, it would probably cost a lot more. The browning levels work well, but they are strong. I usually keep mine at around three and a half because level four is already a bit too much for my preference. For me, the functionality makes up for the plastic exterior. It works extremely well, looks charming on the counter, and I use it every day. As long as you like the design and do not mind the plastic outside, I think you will be very satisfied with it. Five stars from me.

I’ve been using this Retro 2-slice toaster and overall it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. The first thing that stands out is the design—the floral pattern and retro style give it a unique, decorative look that adds personality to the countertop instead of just blending in. Functionally, it does a solid job for a 2-slice toaster. The six browning settings give you good control depending on how light or dark you like your toast, and the results have been fairly consistent. I’ve used it for regular sliced bread, bagels, and thicker artisan bread, and the extra-wide slots handle all of those without any issues. The cancel, defrost, and reheat buttons are convenient and easy to use, especially during busy mornings. The built-in warming rack is a nice bonus feature. It works well for warming pastries or keeping toast warm without over-toasting it, and the removable crumb tray makes cleanup simple. One downside is that, since it only toasts two slices at a time, it can feel a bit limiting if you’re making breakfast for more than one or two people. You’ll likely need to run multiple cycles, which adds a little extra time. Overall, this toaster combines style and functionality really well. I was seriously in need of a new toaster, so imagine my excitement when this cool printer toaster came across my path. The first thing I noticed when I got the package is how light it was. I pulled it out, and the slices are wide, but look short. There are controls on one end, and on the other is a little press down lever like you use to lower the bread, but this one extends the metal bars that form a warming rack over the heat. I think this will be getting a LOT of use; a pet peeve is cooking and having to toast things too early so I can free up the one outlet in our kitchen that’s not got a stove or microwave on it. The controls are super easy to use (it’s a toaster), and it makes quick work of making toast. I am still playing with the temp. I started out with the dial turned to 3.5, and ended up having to pull my toast out early or it would have been charcoal. Just under 3 is where I have settled. This would be a great toaster for bagels specifically. The wide, short slots are the perfect size, and you can keep them warm for spreads on the rack above the slots. Plus, it just looks cool. I’m not sure how long this will hold out given the fact that it’s made with some futuristic material that weighs nothing, but I will enjoy it while I have it.

So far this toaster seems to function as described. It has 6 different toasting settings, the defrost feature, and the reheating feature button options. The additional warming above rack option is useful and functional as well. It does seem to toast quickly and efficiently. I am a fan of the butterfly floral pattern. My husband will have to get used to the new look in time, but we did need a new toaster. There was a plastic smell the first few uses, but that seems to have faded. The instruction manual indicates this is normal and due to manufacturing processes. Although a decent toaster overall, it is a bit expensive. When I ordered it was listed at $69.99. While it is nice, the quality is not super amazing and it does look and feel a bit cheap. One could certainly find a less expensive toaster out there. If you are looking for a high quality toaster, this isn’t probably the best choice. I am guessing the price tag is due to the unique flower butterfly pattern as I haven’t really seen anything like that out there before.

Full disclosure: I have not used the pastry warmer yet—but it’s a great feature! The toasting function works perfectly well. Gosh… I forgot what it was like to have a toaster. It’s awesome! The design is super cute, it’s easy to use, and isn’t heavy duty but it also won’t fall apart on you. I got this toaster to contribute to a “cottage core” kitchen and it’s a great decorative piece that also has a functional use. Plus, I make a lot of homemade bread so a toaster is a necessity.

This toaster is quite attractive. It performs exceptionally well in toasting, although I have found that it operates at a higher temperature, so I typically maintain a low setting. The small warming arms are a thoughtful addition. I particularly enjoy using it for my bagels. While it may not accommodate oversized bread, it is suitable for thicker slices. The exterior of the toaster remains cool to the touch. This toaster is remarkably straightforward and intuitive to operate. It is also very lightweight, which gives the impression of it not being particularly sturdy, but its durability will be determined over time.
