Set out to upgrade the front dash speakers on my 1996 GMC Rally van, which requires you to drop down the steering column and completely removing the entire dash board from the vehicle, which is an all day job. Originally purchased a set of Pioneer TS-A4670F speakers from Crutchfield.com that turned out to be a big disappointment as they did not sound good and failed in a month. This led me to take no chances on the next set of speakers as I was going to have to pull the whole dash out again. So, with lots of reading, I chose to go with these Infinity Kappa 4x6 plate speakers. I must say that I can't say enough good about these speakers. They really perform and sound great and the build quality looks top notch. My system consists of a Sony deck with these Infinity 4x6 plates up front, and a pair of Kicker 4x10 speakers in the factory location in the rear of the van along with a Rockville SS8P 400w 8" Slim Under-Seat Active Powered Car/Truck Subwoofer under the passenger seat. Its loud, its clear, and it has awesome bass.

Great speakers! even after a small break in period they are doing great. Large magnets good weight. The surround is plastic, and kind of thick. wish it was metal but still very good.

Product will fit in the rear upper cab corners of a 1990 GM truck. (GMT-400). Will require some self tapping screws or a homemade mounting bracket of some sort. These will not fit in the dash corners because the 4” speaker is offset to one side of the 4x6 hole which is super shallow and narrow to begin with. I opted for the higher end Kicker 4” rounds which came with adapter plates from Crutchfield. If I were you, I’d order from Crutchfield anyway. Very comparable rates with Amazon and they send you the mounting plates and speaker harnesses and just have really good customer service.

I installed these on my 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ- they sound amazing! Decent bass and good treble considering the small size of the speakers. I paired these with a set of Infinity 6 x 9s installed in sound wedges behind the seat and now am debating if I even need a subwoofer. I am driving these with a late-model Pioneer and no distortion up to high volume on the noisy road with no top on the Jeep. They are a nightmare to replace in the Jeep behind the dash (I have a rollbar so access is a problem) but that is no fault to the speakers. No regrets in the purchase at all and the price was the best I have found for Infinity Kappa 4x6s.

The dash speakers in my 2002 S10 finally fell apart after 10 years. They were the Infinity Reference, and I was quite happy with them. So, looking for new speakers to replace them. I came across these 4x6 Kappa versions. Since I enjoyed the Reference series so much I ordered them. These Infinity Kappa 4x6's are a mighty fine sounding speaker. Very detailed. Not bright at all. Quite smooth in fact. Using them with a JL HD600/4 amp and a Kenwood Exelon head unit. They honestly rock. If you are looking for a replacement 4x6, I cant reccomend these enough!

The speakers themselves are great, but i had to repair them upon arrival, one of the wires that were soldered in came with a broken piece that i had to resolder, removing the old solder and putting in new solder. That's my only dislike about paying $110 for a product that came defective.

Good product for the price, the sound quality is very good don't expect too much bass though. They are still 4x6 either way you look at it

These will surprise you with the sound that comes out of them. They are crisp and the bass is amazing for a small speaker, way better than the 6.5 Pioneers I bought to go with them. Going buy set for my street rod and put an amp with them they are that good of quality.
