Very bright for my intended use while camping at night. Close to the tent, I use red (700 nm wavelength light) as most bugs can't see red light. This UV light attracts bugs (390 nm wavelength light) while not disturbing or attracting other campers close by. I set it up about 20 feet away from the tent distraction bugs away from my tent and picnic table at night.. This probably is not its intended use, but it works well for my application. In addition, it is well built with a shock absorbing surround, has a built-in stand, and is water proof. It has a plastic cap/cover on the back that stops water getting into the USB C charge port. It's lasted a good four hours on high and still has plenty of battery power left at the end of the night. I bought this product for me and a friend to use while fishing. We wanted a good UV light that could withstand sitting on wet ground or withstand an accidental drop. First impressions were how hardy it is. Has a good weight and is built very sturdy. Noticed the water-protection on the back plugs and that was huge for its purpose. Its also compact, and takes up very little room when packed up. The UV light is a lot more powerful than I expected, and certainly lasts what is advertised. The light charges with a micro USB, so it can be charged with a power bank if you're out away from a place to charge it. We went out to use it for a night and the light managed to illuminate all the fishing poles by the bank for the entire time we were out there. If you're considering buying one for whatever need you have for a UV light, THIS is the product. It will meet, and exceed your expectations, just as it did with me. ... show more

After buying this black light, I made sure to purchase neon yellow fishing poles, this light has never died on me while I’ve been out, and I have made some six hour fishing trips. The value for the money is great. See your pose move in just the slightest bit after midnight in the complete dark. ! A fellow YouTuber gave me the idea to get one when I seen him using it the charge rate is great. I suggest buying a nice sized power bank so just in case you want you can just plug it in, but like I said, I’ve never had any issues with it on the battery. Also, it looks great. The build quality seems good. I like the rubber edges for drop protection and durability. The rechargeable/ portability is great. I have 2 others from a different manufacturer. They are not as bright but they also do not get as warm as this one does. There is also a little plastic “door” on the back that I think is goi g to break off after a bit of use. It seems brittle and flimsy. I used it to take photos of uv reactive items. All in all a great product so far. ... show more
