I used this on my human hair extension which is called a "Topper" that clips in to make your own hair fuller. I was apprehensive at first and tried a small section. Since my piece is human hair, I supposed it would work & not melt the hair (I wouldn't recommend it on synthetic hair!). The waves in my hairpience were a real pain to blow out with a hair dryer, took me forever & I never got that straight, hug your face frame hairstyle. Well what took me an hour plus before, now takes me 10 minutes to get the straight hair I tried so hard to get! It works great & I love it. The only caution I would say is that you should start on the lowest level of heat. Be careful to not touch the ceramic brush (very very hot). Brush through your hair quickly & the way the instructions tell you. Read the how-to-use instructions before using! My hair is fine, wavy/frizzy, and I have well water. (In case you weren’t sure,this is not a great combination for hair.) Also, I’m now in my mid40s and there so many better ways to spend my time then fussing over my impossible hair each day before work. That’s why I like this brush! While I can style with a hairdryer, curling iron, & flat iron, my fine hair has a tendency to crimp and dry out - so I prefer to save that effort for “special occasions.” I’m way overdue for a trim and last night I let it air dry without using conditioner. Using the brush on low heat it only took a few minutes per side to straighten it! Is it perfectly sleek? No but it’s humid out and I only used a touch of shine products. This will certainly pass for polished enough at my professional office job on a rainy day. I did deduct a star for the claim of “eliminates static” as I did not find that to be the case. It is also a little challenging to straighten close to the scalp, for me that’s not a dealbreaker but I can see where it could be an issue for someone with tighter curls. ... show more

Feels cheap and low quality. Received older model and not what was advertised. Not nearly enough hot bristles. Beware, this is a non-refundable item! I didn’t realize that or I wouldn’t have purchased.

I only used this on air dried hair. It is amazing for my frizzy hair. Also, it gives my hair a shine. Usually i use a chi hair straightener i have not used it since i got this. it takes me half the time and much less sweating then straighten. i would highly recommend.

Does help straighten your hair without a lot of skill required, we didn't get the "shine" you see on the ad!! So it gets 3 stars from me. The bristles are short, if you have a lot of thick long hair you're going to be there for a while sectioning all that out and brushing it with this tool. The other thing I definitely didn't like is the back of the brush does get heated and we were just using the medium setting. There is no kickstand or anything else to hold it up off a surface, so have a hot pad handy or something like that to lay it down on when you're not using it or you're done so it can cool down. ... show more

I purposely choose this hot brush because it does not dangerously hot where you would absolutely need a glove. It heats up fast and there is a noise due to Ion feature that is not loud. I got the travel sized and like it so much I had to get the real size! My hair is thick with natural waves/curls, never use a blow dryer or straightener on a frequent basis but the Infiniti Pro makes me want to keep styling (use medium setting) since it is so easy to use. *Definitely glad I got the suggested Colortrak hear-resistant silicone heat absorber as the back is a little more than warm for my comfort of leaving it on my dresser. ... show more

My new favorite! Great alternative to a flat iron for quick styling. I have thick coarse hair and live in Florida (humidity). With a flat iron I straighten 1/4 to 1/2 inch at a time and closer to roots. This brush allows me to grab 1/2 inch to 2 inch subsections and straighten my hair (400F) after using a heat protectant or humectant. It cuts down time and increases flexibility on my styles. After blow drying my hair I used the hot brush to straighten/style and wrap my hair in a beehive style placing a scarf on for the night in no time. Next day I combed it out and hair was soft and straight as if I used a flat iron. My hair softness lasted until my next shampoo 1 week later. ... show more
