The highest wattage they recommend using is 20w so if you are looking for a bright light this may not be the best option. Other than that easy to install and looks really nice.

I ordered this light for entry to a mudroom in a house we are redoing. I was excited that it came in 3000K because that's the color of all the lightbulbs I am using. We finally got to the point of installation and...it doesn't look like 3000K to me. It looks 2700K which is WAY too yellow. That 300K might not seem like much, but you can see in the pictures the room where that light is installed vs all the other rooms. I love the size, scroll work detail, etc, which is why I gave it 4 stars. However, I'm bummed and am probably going to change it. ... show more

Nice light and would have given it 5 stars if not for having the 2 mounting screws that go to visable finished nuts being too long. would not go into the box in ceiling as they extend beyond the box. Had to go to ACE Hardware for shorter M4 size screws. Then it mounted fine.

The manufacturer instructs to install 20w bulbs. I was only able to find 25w at my local store. This ceiling fixture is adequate for a small room. I'm not sure that it will provide sufficient lighting for larger rooms.

This light has already gotten compliments from the few people who have been able to see our new house in transition as we renovate. The home is a cottage with low ceilings, and this low-profile light looks perfect, and doesn't risk whacking someone in the head. The reason I knocked off a star is because my it took my father-in-law a looong time to install (I can't explain why, since I didn't do it). He is NOT a novice in light fixture installation- he's quite experienced. It'll take some patience to install. But, it's the size/height I needed, and is so much nicer to look at than a lot of the LED flush-mount lights. I love that it's low-profile but I can still fit some cute Edison bulbs in it. Easy to put together although the screws are a bit small. Paired with Edison lights and they look so good in our bedrooms. The turnable light cap is also a great feature!
