Finally I can flat iron my own curls without going in to the salon. Years, years! I have waited to find a product that duplicates the style I get at a blow dry bar. Easy to use from a first try! I know I'll get better. Plus it is all world voltage. I only could find the information in one review and it wasn't specific on the manufacturer site but it works international. I attached a picture from the included leaflet. I probably would have kept it even if it wasn't international compatible because it curls so nice. I love T3 products. Today I was able to get rid of all my old irons, it was liberating.

T3 is a brand I've come to trust so I was very interested to see how this straightener lived up to others. The first thing I noticed was how the contact points do seem to heat up so right off the bat, I find myself gripping this thing differently than I normally would. That also means the way I leverage my hair and clamp it changes. For that reason, I can't say it's the most comfortable hot tool I've used. Once you do get used to it however, it does work well and heat evenly. I do find myself likeing the results!

While I usually love this brand, this product didn’t work for me. It didn’t straighten my hair or curl it. I turned the temperature up much higher than I typically would go on hot tools, but it really didn’t heat my hair much. The plates also glide super smoothly so there’s not much grip to straighten. Lots of effort and my hair still isn’t done. Will need to go in with another straightener or curling iron to finish the job

I don't particularly love that you needs to wear a glove with this product. I also don't care for the high heat that this product uses. It is too much for daily use, or you will run your hair. My hair is beautiful when I use it. I love the ribbon curls that this curler makes.

So before I review anything, the One Note I have to stay over and over, wear the glove! I was surprised with how fast the curling iron heats up and I was even more shocked that the entire outside of the curling iron / straightener heats up. My friend who was a hair stylist has this tool and swears by it. She showed me early on how to do ribbon curls with it and I have to say, I feel like this curling / straightener tool really is one of the best tools on the market to help you get the ribbon curl that falls so naturally and looks so effortless. It takes a second to get used to using the barrel but once you've mastered it, it's a breeze from there on out. The straightening element is great too, I really like that it's a two-in-one because normally I either curl my hair or straighten my hair and with this tool I don't need to use anything else. The only reason why I give this tool a four out of five is because it does heat up all over and there really was no warning. I always wear glove when trying new tool and knowing that it heats up because my friend has it was a good indication but it doesn't really tell you anywhere else that it will heat up all over so be prepared to wear the glove so you don't burn your fingers!
