I got worried when I found out that this lamp supports 120V as written in the User Manual because I intended to use this in Asia which uses 220V. However, as I have carefully inspected it, I found out that the bulb socket indicates that it can actually support up to 250V. On the other hand, the included LED bulb (E26) indicates that is supports 120V only. So I figured, if I would replace the bulb with an E27 type which uses 220V, it may possibly work so I got in touch with the manufacturer to confirm it. Well, the replied in the affirmative and true enough, it did work with an E27 bulb while plugged in to a 220V wall outlet as shown in my attached photo. I just love the designs of boostarea lamp so for those of you who would like to use it outside the US, please be guided that this lamp can actually be used globally. You just need to replace the light bulb with the one that supports the electric wall voltage used by your country (no step-down voltage adapter needed) ... show more

Had a chuckle when I received this small box and realized it was the floor lamp I ordered. Then I got a little cautious about the quality of what was in the small box. Too my pleasant surprise, the lamp was well packed. It unpacked and assembled quite easily. Probably took me less than 15 minutes. One tip I can offer is to start from the top. With mine, there was extra cord from the light fixture that had to be pulled through the rods. As I attached each rod, I pulled the cord through. Once you get to that bottom rod, the cord needs to be gently pulled to extend out the grommet hole, which is a little tight. If you don't pull the cord through as you go along, you will have to really tug on the cord to pull it through the grommet and run the risk of stretching and/or causing damage to the cord. The base itself has good weight to it so, there's low potential of it tipping if on a flat surface. Mine is now in a carpeted room and is just fine. The light adds just the right amount of warm ambiance to the area I had wanted but, as others mentioned, the illumination from the bulb is blinding. Even just looking at the light in passing is blinding. So, I will be looking for a different bulb or way to diffuse it. Otherwise, I'm happy with the contents of my little package. ... show more

Thought it was going to be taller like one of those living room lamps.you can stick in a corner behind the couch or something. It's not. It's tall but I'm 5'3 it's around that tall. Goes together easy. Like really easy. Comes with a fulfillment LED. I like it
