Get up to 850 F, turn pizza half turn with 7 inch metal peel every 20 seconds for a nicely toasted crust. I use semolina course flour on a wooden peel to launch and aluminum to remove.

I bought this for quick weeknight pies and it genuinely delivers the high heat you need. It gets to the advertised 450°C quickly and can finish a 12-inch Neapolitan-style pizza in about 90 seconds once the stone is saturated. The included stone runs hot enough to blister the cornicione and the top heat is strong, so you get leopard spotting without over-drying the crumb. For an indoor electric unit, that’s impressive. Build and controls The stainless housing feels solid, the door action is smooth, and the touchscreen plus physical knob is a good combo. The five presets are useful starting points, but I mostly run manual to fine-tune stone temperature and bake time. Heat-up is quick and recovery between pies is respectable for an electric oven of this size. Bake quality and consistency With a proper high-hydration dough (60–65%+), the oven produces light, airy crusts with good spring. Top heat keeps pace with the stone so you don’t end up with pale toppings and a burnt bottom. I found the hottest zone slightly toward the back, so a mid-bake turn improves evenness. The single included peel works for launching, but a small turning peel makes life easier for 90-second bakes. Indoor use and ventilation Being electric and rated for indoor use is the main selling point. It still gets very hot and can smoke a bit if flour or cheese scorches on the stone, so crack a window or use a hood if you can. The exterior stays touch-warm except around the door and vent; still, give it space on the counter and keep cords clear. What I like • True high heat in an indoor unit; consistent 90-second bakes once preheated • Stone and top heat balance well, producing real leopard spotting • Compact footprint with premium stainless finish • Simple interface; presets plus manual control • Comes with a stone, peel, and a basic recipe book so you can start same day What could be better • Only one peel included; a dedicated turning peel would help with fast bakes • Stone recovery drops after several back-to-back pies; a short pause restores heat • Front edge of the stone can run slightly cooler than the rear, so rotate for even color • Storage space matters; allow room for the peel and accessories Tips to get the most from it • Preheat longer than you think: give the stone a full saturation period even after the display hits target. • Use low-dust bench flour or fine semolina to avoid burned residue and smoke. • Keep dough balls small for true 12-inch Neapolitan and avoid overloaded toppings. • Brush the stone between pies to remove stray flour and cheese; do a higher-temp burn-off at the end, then wipe once cool. • For New York-style, drop the stone temperature slightly and extend bake time for more dryness and slice fold.
