My son loves is, it does give him some thing to do. My only complaint to the manufacturer would be to add some sort of protective filming for the back of the bolts so it doesn’t damage the door. I bought this for my son for Christmas just to give him something to do in his room that wasn’t a video game. He played with this basketball hoop for hours I would go check on him and he would be dripping sweat. I did have to put a washcloth behind it because it was scratching my door. It is probably the best thing I got him because he’s always up doing something. He is also very hard on this thing he will slam dunk and him and his friends will do that too so this thing is very sturdy and will last a long time.

My kid bought this with their birthday gift card and was so excited to play on it. When we went to attach the net we realized that it had unraveled in multiple places and we couldn’t tie it back together right. I’m debating on taking it apart and returning.

It is very sturdy and comes with all of the things you need except something to attach the bottom of the backboard. Every time he shoots it bangs against the door. Otherwise, it’s awesome.

Unfortunately, the spring for the hoop held for less than a minute before the hoop closed up. Now the spring only holds when it is pushed up rather than down. If play is not bothered, I may keep. To the person that said their board was reverse, you have to remove the white film and then add the hoop to the correct side.
