This was my first attempt at brooding chickens and this brooder made it super easy. Directions are good and assembly was easy. The built in temp gauge and humidity gauge both worked well (checked for a few days with a Bluetooth monitor). We put 17 eggs in, 16 were fertile and 12 hatched. The 4 that didn't hatch all had developed up to a certain point then just quit. I wouldn't fault the brooder for this. The candler doesn't work very well, but I have a super bright flashlight that did the trick. I actually bought 2 brooders and have a second set of eggs that are due to hatch in a couple days. This has been a fun process and my kids have really enjoyed it.

I had a pretty good experience with my first batch of eggs (duck) but 1 1/2 weeks before hatch day on my 2nd batch (also duck eggs) the incubator died. I contacted Amazon and the company and they not only refunded my money but also sent me a new one to replace the one that died. Unfortunately, it arrived too late to save my ducklings and I lost them all. Even though it cost me a lot to lose those ducklings, I feel the company did a great job of making things right by me and, because of that, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this company again. The incubator itself was very easy to setup and use and the cleaning and disinfecting of it was pretty easy as well.

This works very well. Easy to adjust temp and humidity and even has an alarm on it or temp or humidity drops too low. Hatching today. 3 of 12 so far. All looks good

This incubator quick working on day 21!!! I still had eggs in it!!! The entire time the humidity was very difficult to maintain. Now I’m rushing to try and save these eggs! Would love a refund but of course outside the return window! I would not recommend this incubator if you truly want to reliably hatch eggs safely!

Very good investment!! Love how easy it was to put together and my duck eggs are doing great! Really can’t hear it only time it makes noise is when the humidity or temperature drops! Heat level is perfect!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This was very easy to use. Pros: It has a large dome which is good when chicks are hatching. No settings to mess with, it's all preset and automatic. Automatic egg turning. Consistent temperature output. Water bottles included, helps to keep humidity steady without needing to constantly refilling through a water hole like some other brands. Cons: Egg candeling light has a yellow ring that lets light through and makes it harder to see in the egg. Need separate candler for better inspection. Bottle holders are a little wonky; one side didn't sit in all the way without some force being applied, otherwise it would keep draining water and leaked on the surface where the incubator was placed. Holes for humidity control are good, but there is no way to completely close it off if you want to rapidly increase humidity or keep humidity high during dryer times like nighttime. Overall, not bad for a $70 incubator. My biggest disappointment was the egg candling light because of the yellow ring you set the egg on. The light itself seemed bright enough to penetrate the eggshell, but the yellow ring cancels that feature.
