Description

For precision measurement of metric items, INCRA's precision measuring tools will help you accomplish your project with accuracy. It is best used with a mechanical pencil for wood or scriber for metal. The INCRA 300 mm Precision Bend Rule make dual-surface layouts a snap using the corner slots. The INCRA Bend Rule is precisely what you need for layout and measurement along the edge of a board or other workpiece. There are micro-fine marking holes at every scale line to instantly locate your sharp pencil point or scribe exactly on target with zero uncertainty and no eye strain! The 90 degree shape holds it snugly in place while the two scale surfaces let you mark and measure on the top, edge and corners simultaneously! There are even two vertical end scales for drawing precision parallel lines relative to the edge of your work.

  • The holes in it are way too small for this tool to be useful for woodworking.
The holes/slots in this tool are just too small. I don't have one dang pencil that will fit into the holes. Not even the sharpest #2 will fit. My .7mm mechanical pencil lead will not fit. Some people are saying that the .5mm leads that they specify don't fit well either. The tiny leads you need to use for this tool are way too fragile to draw a line on wood without breaking. Maybe on the very smoothest wood you could get away with it. Maybe it's OK for a razor thin scribe tool. This tool would be really useful if it had holes in it that were big enough to use a regular pencil with it. Every time I try to use this tool the aggravation of not having a pencil around that is small enough to use with it makes me end up using a regular tape measure instead. Too bad. ... show more
