Ordered glider swing as a replacement to a different design/manufacturer. Overall, pleased with swing and the cushions, which are very comfortable to sit upon (compared to the previous swing that had no cushions). The assembly instructions were very well laid out and all the necessary pieces and tools were provided. My criticism of the assembly was some of the instructional pictures were too small to see what was being demonstrated. Also, we had one issue with one of the threaded holes for the screw to go in. It appeared there was some metal or other obstruction inside and in the way, not allowing the screw to fully seat/screw down. Tried to drill/remove the obstacle and was partially successful, but not totally so. Tightened the screw down as far as I could, but in the process stripped the Allen-hole. That was unfortunate because the rest of the dozen or so screw assemblies came together smoothly and as designed. Unit is made of sturdy metal and appears to be able to sustain weight and, hopefully, take heavy use. We'll see if the issue with the one screw (which was on one of the swinging pieces) holds up over time. Only other small criticism would be some of the welding joints appear shoddy. I don't know if that's because they were manually or mechanically done, but they could have used more cleaning up and smoothing out before being painted. Given the price of the swing I would expected more craftsmanship built into it. Otherwise, lower its cost. ... show more

I ordered this glider after looking at many other gliders after reading reviews and looking at ratings. Luckily, my husband didn't have any problems putting it together. As far as quality is concerned, it seems very sturdy and we hope that it will last and not rust over a short period of time. The chair itself isn’t bad. It looks cute but could use better cushions. The instructions are a headache when it comes to attaching part D. We ended up coming back to the listing and figuring it out from the picture.
