  • Classic and reliable espresso maker!
Size: 6 Cups
This little espresso maker delivers big flavor. It’s easy to use, heats up quickly, and makes rich, strong coffee every time. I love the stainless steel design—it's sturdy and easy to clean. Perfect size for one or two people. A must-have if you love traditional stovetop espresso!

  • You’re using it wrong!
Size: 6 Cups
I see some reviews, good and bad, these criminal acts of misuse just wrench my gut! Your Moka pot exploded? You overfilled it and stuck it on high! The pot is only as good as the person using it. I highly recommend you check out the James Hoffman video on YT, and use his method for both safety and delicious tasting coffee. Basically, you fill the pot with hot water that was already preheated in a kettle or whatever, THEN use a towel to put it together… tighten it down! (Do not tamp the coffee down, just spoon it in and tap the side of the basket to make it level. Tamping will cause too much pressure and the coffee will not come through!) Put it on the burner on medium, NOT high, and watch. As soon as it starts gurgling air, like most of the coffee has come up and it’s running out of water, that’s when you remove it from the heat. I run the bottom chamber under water for a couple seconds to completely stop the brewing process, to each their own, but at least remove it from the heat. Know what you end up with? Coffee! Not burnt, bitter crapola. The Moka pot will not make TRUE espresso, as it’s not capable of producing the necessary amount of pressure, but it will give you a nice strong cup of… “semispresso” that can taste absolutely delicious. I get store brand Lavazza in the can, I’ve used fresh espresso roast from a local roastery too which was amazing, but in my opinion the Lavazza is really delicious for some store bought stuff. Put that yellow block down! It’s a lot of fun making “fake-uccino” lattes with this thing, obviously my latte art needs work lol but if you get a little milk frother and a mini pitcher, you can have a blast with it (or a mess). I guarantee you won’t spend as much as a real espresso machine, or take up as much counter space! BOTTOM LINE: This moka pot is as good as any moka pot out there, it really depends on the user. I preferred the look and price of this one, those hex shaped pots are just fugly to me. And listen… seriously… GET THE BIG ONE! A “cup” is not universal, in the US it’s 8 fl Oz but around the world it can be anything from 2.5 oz to pretty much whatever. The big pot will give you one good cup of coffee. Remember, they consider these things to be espresso makers. So if it says, “6 cups,” assume it’s more like 6 shots of espresso. ... show more

  • Excellent product for a quick, strong brew
Size: 6 Cups
I have been using this for about 6 months now. Not everyday, but every time I'm in a mood for coffee. It's a wonderful, convenient and simple stovetop coffee maker. Perfectly sized for a strong, quick brew. Easy to clean. Be careful with the top rim and lid, though. It can be sharp if not handled with care. ... show more

  • Nice small Moka pot
Size: 4 Cups
My induction stove barely recognizes this pot. It is barely magnetic, but the stove still manages to detect it on the smallest burner. Make sure that the pot covers the entire inner circle of your smallest burner; otherwise, it may not be recognized. That's what happened with my two front burners. I thought the pot was defective until I tried it on the somewhat smaller rear burner. Once it found a home, it makes excellent moka espresso, so long as the lower pot is filled to just below the release valve. The upper and lower pots are well made and screw together easily, and are made of a durable stainless steel. It actually looks better than the picture in the description. the lid and hinge seem a bit flimsy, and that is my only complaint. The coffee basket holds between 18 and 20 grams of espresso, and the lower pot holds about 200 ml of water, about the equivalent of 3 demitasse cups of espresso after subtracting the amount left in the pot after brewing. I found that anything less than 128 ml will not result in good pressure, and the pot will sputter through the spout. I can't compare the results with similar more expensive name brand pots; but I'm satisfied with the 4 oz brews I have made. ... show more

  • Looks good but Leaks!
Size: 4 Cups
Moka pot looks great but the one I received leaks badly between the upper and lower portions, so is unable to brew. No obvious flaws in the gasket either, so I would guess the upper and lower enclosures are not aligned.

  • Great for Spanish coffee, espressos and I guess any coffee
Size: 6 Cups
Great for make coffee, specially expressos and such, those reviews where item was burned or damaged must be from people who had furnace on high or let water drain all the way… mine looks almost as good as new . Keep it low and when you hear it a bit dried up, shut it off.
