Description

Authentic and Original Letter Set of 3: metal stamping kit includes (1) uppercase letter set (1) lowercase letter set (1) number stamp set. Creative and unique metal stamp, perfect for making jewelry, DIY projects, and customized presents or keepsakes. Sizes: The stamp heads are 3mm. The letters will naturally vary in size. Please note that sides of stamp are NOT labeled with markings. For stamping soft metals including aluminum, pewter, Alkeme, copper, brass, nickel silver, and also wood. Do not use on stainless steel. Make sure you are working with a flat brass head hammer and steel bench block on an even and stable table. Color of storage cases will vary. Each set includes either an orange or teal storage case to hold your metal stamps in place.Stamps are oil-coated to protect from rust - simply wipe down with a dry paper towel or rag before using.

Clear font and fun looking, without being crazy. This set was the numbers only, and very inexpensive. Used it to label aluminum plate for toggle switches on an electronic project. Easy to ready. Sharp, clear impression. I can’t attest to longevity, but I have a letter set that’s still great after 30 years. This set looks just as sturdy.     • Great for aluminum, bronze, brass, and pennies (nickel/zinc).

These have been great on aluminum blanks so far. I barely have to tap at all to get an imprint. On that note, they also work well on pewter without issue. You really don't need a hard strike. With bronze and brass, as well as pennies, I do need to strike a bit harder with my 2 lb hammer, but only marginally so. I did attempt to practice on 26 gauge steel, but without much luck. It was hardware store quality, though, so likely hardened. I haven't had a chance to test on jewelry 304 or 316 stainless. I imagine it would work, but need a heavy strike and possibly damage stamps over time. Overall, good stamps and I can tell what each says. I'm not super fond of the 4 in this set, though, because it's the open style 4 and kind of resembles a Y depending on the metal. I ultimately decided to get the newsprint set just get the 4 out of the set that looks more like a triangle. The Newsprint and Bridgette sets mix well together. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I received these stamps today. It was a little weird they were in a impress art package, but the package had been opened. The stamps stamp clearly. I like the font. I find it weird that the stamps do not say impress art on the side. All of my other sets each individual stamp says impress art, these do not. I find this weird. The stamp quality seems good. These fit perfectly on the necklace kit I bought. The numbers are veryyyy small but they look really good and dainty. I used this on a gold bar necklace for a friend who had just given birth. It took some getting used to to try and figure out how many time to hammer but I found about 10-15 hits left a good imprint. Not gunna lie, I was confused when I saw that it didn't come with the number 9 but I soon realized you can flip the 6 around (duh)! ... show more

I love that ImpressArt makes these less-expensive letter stamping sets available. As far as I can tell, they are just as good as the pricier versions. I have been having a great time stamping away. I have used similar sets in the past for polymer clay, leather and wood. I use these on the aluminum blanks also sold by the company, and I did purchase the 3mm thingy to hold them steady, and the special hammer, now that I understand that using a regular household hammer was giving me bounces which made some double-strikes. ... show more

I like the font style. These stamps are not marked with an 'X' to tell you which is the front side or the actual letter. The stamps are small so I had to stamp a sample alphabet and mark each one myself as they would be a nightmare to use considering the case does not keep them in place. It would take forever to find the correct stamp. Once that is done you're good. But do not be in a big rush to get started when you first get them. ... show more
