Keep auto battery terminals clean and free of corrosion. To remove corrosion from terminals use a terminal brush. The main issue I have is the handling of the package by the Amazon delivery person. The battery alone weighs around 53lbs., and care needs to be taken when moving it. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about the delivery and chatted with two different Amazon support people about having the box pointing "this end up". The package had two sides with red arrow stickers pointing up to indicate how the box should be facing. I also left delivery instructions in the order about this. However, the delivery person did not pay attention to any of this and put the box sideways. Luckily, a family member got the box right after delivery and put it the correct way. I did call Amazon to tell them about this issue, and I hope that someone finally does something to prevent it from occurring again. The box the battery came in is thick cardboard. There were styrofoam sheets on each side and a lot of bubble wrap to cover up and fill the remaining area. The styrofoam sheets were somewhat crushed because of the box mishandling and who knows what else, and there were styrofoam bits everywhere, which I had to get a vacuum with a hose out to clean up. The battery itself seemed in good condition with no noticeable leaking or damage. I checked the battery charge, and it was 12.6 volts. The battery was brand new, and the manufacture date was the same month I ordered the battery. The price for the battery was the best I saw online, and I did not have to ship my old battery back. I took my old battery to an auto parts store, and they gave me $10 store credit even though I did not buy the battery there. It is probably better to order the battery when the temperature is not really hot or really cold outside. Also, do not wait until your battery dies before replacing it. If your battery is more than a few years old and you see the charge on your old battery when not in use is only around 11.6 volts, it would be a good idea to replace it before you get stuck with a dead battery in your car. If your battery is placed in an area of your car that requires a vent hose, this battery has 2 vent holes and comes with 1 plug (attached to the red cover piece for the positive terminal) for the unused vent hole. It does not come with a vent hose or elbow, and you should just use the parts that were on the battery you are removing. Excluding the delivery issue, I would recommend ordering this battery from Amazon. ... show more

Bought two of batteries in 2017. Just now ordering replacements. They still start the truck, but I can tell their time is getting short. They have performed above my expectations. They have done a great job starting my Ram 6.7 diesel. My 2016 Chrysler 300 Hemi takes the same battery. Installed one in it about 18 months ago. Starts it with ease. Not saying you couldn’t get a bad one, but so far they are batting 100 percent for me. ... show more

This was a great deal. My dealer wanted $280 for the same battery and then wanted to charge extra for installation. We are having some freezing nights regularly now and my truck is starting like a champ. Others mentioned the packaging. In case you’re worried about that, don’t be. 1. The Packaging - Upon opening the carton, the battery was in upside down. The exposed bottom was dirty. There were multiple, dents and gashes in the battery case. As thin as they make the lead plates nowadays, the risk of life shortening damage is ever present and impossible to detect. The small parts bag (red positive terminal cover) was missing. Examination of the carton revealed that the bottom had broken open and its contents had fallen out. Originally it had been taped with only clear tape. There was wear on the bottom of the carton indicating it had been slid around and that made the tape even weaker. See photo. Why in the world they would they not use strapping tape on something this heavy and dense? This is the manufacturer's fault more than the shipping company. They have to know this is inadequate. Can't return it. I'm stuck with it. 2. The handles - My battery is located in the trunk of my Chrysler 300. The OEM battery has a single robust handle. It can be taken in an out with one hand while using your other hand to steady yourself. while bending over. The AC Delco has 2 super wimpy handles and you must use both hands on the battery while awkwardly bending over. You have to be careful not to fall or throw out your back. I used an old 5 gallon bucket handle to lower it in place. 3. The vents - This battery has two vents and neither is plugged. There are no vent plugs (nor an elbow) in the small parts bag. I had to take the plug out of my old battery. How much longer as American consumers are we going to tolerate manufacturers and sellers constantly lowering the bar for themselves? ... show more

The new battery was very heavy, but wasn’t that difficult to install on my 2020 Chevy Blazer. Replacing the battery removed all the warning I was receiving on the dash that didn’t specifically say battery. On a side note, now my vehicle turns off at red lights like intended, but did stop during the time with the weak battery. ... show more

It is well built to replicate the original Mopar battery installed in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Perfectly sized, ships well protected and was full of charge when I received it. In my car the battery is installed below the front passenger seat and the process to install it is not trivial, requires a long neck tool. The battery fitted perfectly and the car started at the first try. It has been working well since I installed it four weeks ago. I will come back to update this review if it does not perform as expected or the warranty is not fulfilled by the manufacturer.
