Not bright at all. These lights are more of a dim accent lighting, partly due to the light bulbs being spread out too far from eachother. The app control is two steps above basic. The app doesn't play well with Google home. It's nice to control with your lights with your voice but only On and Off, it won't do specific light settings. Bought these for my patio. Expected them to provide a bright white light and to connect with Google home. They are very dim (on max brightness) and white isn’t even an option for the built in button without the app. Google home did not connect at all and according to other reviews Google can only do on/off - cannot change color which means it also won’t do white with Google home. I am really pleased with these lights. First of all the lights themselves are very heavy duty and well made. Setting up the app was very easy and took less than 5 minutes. I love the app. There are so many settings for different ambiances. Did I mention they have an app? Best part of these lights is being able to control them with my phone! There is also the option to set up via google home or alexa. Everything was so easy to connect. They seem like a higher quality than other lights that I have purchased. So far they have held up well! Lights started randomly turning themselves on and flashing...sometimes a few bulbs, sometime part of the string, sometimes the full string. Traced down to poor connectors (would turn off or stop flashing when connector tapped or lightly twisted). Out of warranty so cut connectors off and soldered wires together and insulated each with shrink tube. After repair to eliminate terrible connectors lights would not work at all. The wifi control via the app was also very unstable and required resetting/re-pairing the lights often. ... show more
