My fiancé and I bought this bed for our new life together. He and his buddy put it together and said it was very complicated and the instructions weren’t super helpful. But they got it after about two hours. It’s a great size and love all the storage. The LED lights are a nice touch too. What I don’t like is: 1. It does look a little cheap. Not majorly so but a little. 2. The drawers on the base don’t connect to anything, just slide in and out. And they don’t line up flush against the base of the bed so they stick out a little sometimes. Not sure if that’s due to how it was put together or just how it is. I agree with the other reviewers, the instructions could be a little better but we managed. Every screw fit where it was meant to be. The bed is sturdy, it looks nice, the light on the headboard is a nice touch. Would recommend.

    • I love the look but has its problems

It took a long time to put together. The bolts only being labeled on the front made it hard and it seemed I was short specific bolts. Also it’s hard to open and close the drawers and the edges a lot get my toes. The drawers are heavy on the front with the board attached to the wheels don’t stay on the ground unless the drawer is full. With no handles on the drawers you have to try and get your fingers between either the frame and drawer or the ground and the drawer which can hurt your fingers and the drawers can close weird. The instructions start off great but it is missing a whole section on how to install the flip down headrest and half the screws to put it in. Lots and lots of left overs. I read the instructions 100 times to see what I missed and nothing. No the extra isn’t for the flip down. It is much thinner than the rest of screws. ... show more

The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because it took my 4 hours to put this thing together due to the fact I swear there was over 100 or 150 screws needed to put the whole thing together! ... show more
