So far so good. Was not too difficult to assemble. My only complaint was how hard it was to fill the base with play sand. Took longer than expected because the play sand kept getting backed up in the opening where the sand/water goes in. If you use dry sand (not moist play sand) it will fill a lot easier. ... show more

I bought this hoop to replace our aging one. The backboard is a bit on the smaller side and too thin for my liking but I knew that before buying it. The cheaper price also reflects that. My 11-yr old twin boys and I discussed and agreed that in order for them to hone their shooting skills, we need a smaller backboard so they can focus on nothing but net. :) Assembly was easy and I figure durability will be put to the test in the Florida sun. Poles are of smaller diameter and so is the base compared to our old one and because of those, I can see a significant sway when you hit the board or rim with the ball hard. All in all, so far so good for our need. I will update my rating if anything significant happens in the future. ... show more

Bought this for some therapy for me during the summer, however, I used it less than a month and then it had super hot months here in South Carolina Went to play one day through the ball up in the net disintegrated literally just disappeared So I doubt it’s the manufacturers fought on the netting I believe whatever they’ve been spraying our skies down here attacks, plastic and stuff because I’ve never seen a basketball net do this before it literally just disappeared vanished like fell apart like the chemical composition didn’t exist, but I will Buy me a chain next time to replace it. This is super fun. Its true to its hight. Dont trust it in high wind weather. Be sure to put it on the ground before storms so it dont drop and bust the back. We bought ours a year ago and it is still holding up nicely. Perfect for all ages. And you can move it around to where u want it.
