This is a must have for a basketball lover! I can't believe how great of a deal and hoop this is. It's adjustable and seems to be true to the height it says it is at. The base is small and can be filled with sand to add weight to it but it has wheels so you can tip it back to move or lay down if needed. The hole to fill the base is about the size of a 50 cent piece and we had no trouble filling it up with a funnel and sand. The backboard is that safe shatter proof glass/plastic sort of material. It adjusts down to 6ft and up to 10ft. You definitely wouldn't want to hang on the rim of this hoop but really shouldn't do that anyway. It was easy to pop together, fill and set! It's been perfect for our kid and then the neighborhood kids love it as well. Best part is this is so affordable! No cement pouring or anything needed. Got this for my 2 boys (7 & 9) and honestly it's been a hit. They’ve been out there every afternoon shooting hoops and having a blast. I like that it’s height adjustable, makes it easy to set it low for the younger one and bump it up as they grow. It feels sturdy too, not like those flimsy ones you worry will tip over with a gust of wind. Assembly wasn’t too bad, took me a bit but the instructions were clear enough. No major complaints so far. This was a great decision, the kiddos have a new favorite activity, and I'm pleased this hoop can grow with them. I also love that we can move it around easily, in front of our garage is the ideal spot but sometimes we need that area for car maintainance, and it's easy enough to move that I can do it myself on a moment's notice. I put it together too, and appreciated the included tools and easy to follow instructions. I had it done in about 40 minutes with lots of kid distractions, I imagine it would have taken 20 or 30 max without all the kiddos bouncing around in excitement. It feels like solid quality, the backboard is big enough and it stays stable and upright even with a powerful shot. It might be different with a group of older teens, we'll find out eventually because it seems like it'll hold up nicely. We usually keep it on the lowest setting because it's primarily used by smaller kids, but we raised it for a pre-teen/younger teen birthday party the other day and it worked great. I would buy this in the future, the quality for the price feels reasonable and the kids are using it a lot more than I expected, which makes it a bargain to me. The instructions weren't the best and I was missing three bolts. All in all, works really well for my kids and will for some time. I have it at the lowest setting and I have the extra pole waiting for when they get older. For the cost I'd say it's a great buy. Probably can be uses kids 2 or 3 to 10.
