    • Go through the entire instruction booklet first if planning to use for a kid.

It's fine. It took me forever to put together as it's easier as a two person job. Also, it was missing a screw. Which, as frustrating as that was, was made even more frustrating because I got it for my 5-year-old, so I planned to have it at kid height. At step 16 they say, "if you are planning to use this for kids, at step 4 don't include this pole." which blows my mind why they would say it then. So I spent forever finding a replacement screw only to learn I didn't need that screw anyway. But otherwise fine. ... show more

Most hoops mention "two poles for young children, three poles for older children and adults". This product description said "Stepless Height Adjustment 5.3-10 feet: Equipped with a smooth crank system, adjust to any height within 5.3-10 feet - no fixed positions, no restrictions." To me, that sounded VERY DIFFERENT from the other hoops on the market. Now that the product has arrived, I see it is JUST LIKE the other hoops. You can adjust from 5.3-7.3 feet for young children and (after re-assembling with an additional pole) 8-10 feet for older children and adults. I feel as if I was sucked into the purchase by false advertising. We have both young children and young adults in in our family. I bought this hoop because I believed the height could be adjusted between 5.3 -10 feet as advertised so that our whole family could use it by only turning a crank to adjust the height, but it does not work like that. ... show more
