This basketball hoop has proven surprisingly well-suited for my 8- and 14-year-old kids' basketball practice. I bought it because its height is adjustable from 5.3 feet to 10 feet, and the crank system is incredibly smooth. My 8-year-old can start practicing shooting at the lower height, while my 14-year-old can practice techniques at the higher one. My son loves to play basketball so this was a really good gift for him. We opened it up and got it set up within 15 minutes. The best part about this hoop is that it is adjustable. It works well with kids and teens and it grows with the child. The quality of the hoop and the stand is perfect, the material is very well-made. The ball bounces through very easily. It has a solid color and the backboard is strong and holds well. We are also able to slide it from one area to another with ease, so it moves pretty easily when needed.
