abunda_amazon_reviews This iGadglitz mini tripod is the exact handheld accessory for my DSLR camera. The lightweight very hard plastic and rubber construction appears as very rugged and durable for long term use in outdoor and indoor photo shoots. I highly recommend this for an optimum one hand grip during DSLR photograph and video projects. I bought this specifically for getting even more camera angles beyond the Fotodiox PRO grip extension I added to my Olympus OM-D camera The iGadglitz gives me more handheld photography options and greater grip security.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2016;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;The Right DSLR Tripod/Grip Device;;MooreNoLess;;;I've gone through tons of tripods for my two YouTube channels: Mike Alonzo Hustle & Mike Alonzo Vlogs. His one is seriously the best. I used to always use a gorilla type tripod with all the flexibility but it would always end up breaking plus it was just a bit bigger than I preferred. This iGadgitz tripod is perfectly sized, sturdy and much easier and quicker to set on the table as opposed to other tripods. Plus a huge extra feature is the balancing tool that shows if your tripod is perfectly even!;;Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;The best handheld tripod I've ever had as a YouTube Creator;;Michael A.;;;I have only had the tripod for a couple of weeks, so I can't yet say how it will hold up, but it is very compact and serves its purpose. When closed, the handle is comfortable enough and when open, the tripod will support my DSLR (Canon 80D with lens). Pros: - The locking ball head is very easy to use and with a quick flip of the latch, you can adjust the camera, then snap it back to lock it in. - When closed, the handle is small and comfortable to hold. - Very small and light. Easy for keeping with me in my camera bag, and doesn't add weight to holding the DSLR - From my pictures, you can see that the ball head locks securely enough to hold a DSLR (Canon 80D) with a rather large lens. - When open, the tripod is able to support the same camera (tested with my biggest lens) even when zoomed all the way in. It does get a little scary to balance here, but as long as you make sure one of the legs is in line with the lens, you should be ok. - The design can accept and hold an Arca Swiss adapter like the one in my photo: Desmond DAC-60 60mm QR Clamp 3/8" w 1/4" Adapter & Level Arca-Swiss Compatible for Tripod Head Quick Release which I highly recommend. Cons: - If you have a lens any bigger than the one I tested (Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras), then you might be a little reluctant to stand it on this. And even then, the ball head may begin to sag at that point. - Not sure how long it will last, as the legs are made of plastic (however, everything above the legs is made of metal) - Because the tripod is so short, you probably couldn't use it for photos or videos without getting some of the table (or whatever the tripod is on) in the shot. I suppose you could put it near the edge of the table though (if putting your expensive camera at the edge of the table doesn't freak you out too much) Conclusion: This thing works great to hand hold my DSLR as a video camera. Having it be a mini tripod is just a bonus for me, but a welcome one. It has been able to accommodate even my largest lens just fine. It is a bit short, which means you will need to be careful not to get the table in your shot. To add to this unit's convenience, I would recommend getting an Arca Swiss adapter to make attaching your camera faster and easier. I would recommend this tripod to anyone looking for a versatile solution to handhold their camera. I probably would not recommend it to someone who needs it primarily as a tripod since it is too low to the ground to be useful. If that's what you want, there are other, taller, table-top tripods which would probably better suit your needs.;;Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great for handholding DSLRs for video;;Drew;;;This thing is great! It's not made of metal but not all photo gear needs to be metal. It's made of hard, thick plastic with rubber grips and rubber feet. The base is fairly wide and should hold up any DSLR or mirrorless camera with no problems. I'd even put a midsize camcorder on it. The ball head manipulates with an easy flip lock mechanism and locks in place extremely tight. By hand it takes a lot of pressure to adjust the ball head when it's locked. A camera's not going to move this head. Also, the wrist strap thing is great for mounting to a camera bag. This is the best mini tripod I've used. As a DSLR vlogger, it's been much easier for me to hold stable than a gorilla pod.;;Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great for vlogging! The material is of high quality, very strong plastic and metal everywhere. When the legs are folded in it creates a very comfortable grip for carrying around a camera attached. The legs when opened have no way to stop and will only work if extended out fully. This mean that there is no way to make the tripod stand up higher by moving the legs in closer together. The tripod head will swivel around in all directions but it is very coarse, almost feels like there's not enough oil inside at the bearing.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2017;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;It's Alright;;T. May cause tipping issues with a longer lens (a trade off for compact size) -Screw mount base doesn't have a 'bottomed out' position, allows a bit of rotation either direction This is a great little tripod. Compact, lightweight, simple. It is not super versatile like the more costly ones available on Amazon, it can be used in two ways, in a hand or on a level surface. A solid buy if its simple use cases match your needs.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2017;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;EXCELLENT DOLLAR VALUE;;Alex Darling;;;This tripod came a day early! I have a DSLR (Canon Rebel T5i) It's lightweight and the fact that it is small allows it to fit just about in every bag!
