  • Only Took 1 Month to Arrive
This is the 2nd one we have purchased. This makes for a great tri pod and is easily portable. Works great for YouTube and vlogs. Can set up the short tripod anywhere in a pinch but also works great as a monopod. Ordered on Jan 10 and it arrived on Feb 7.

  • Nice tripod with one exception
When holding like a handle grip, be very careful to not get your hand pinched. It hurts.

  • Great for handholding DSLRs for video
I have only had the tripod for a couple of weeks, so I can't yet say how it will hold up, but it is very compact and serves its purpose. When closed, the handle is comfortable enough and when open, the tripod will support my DSLR (Canon 80D with lens). Pros: - The locking ball head is very easy to use and with a quick flip of the latch, you can adjust the camera, then snap it back to lock it in. - When closed, the handle is small and comfortable to hold. - Very small and light. Easy for keeping with me in my camera bag, and doesn't add weight to holding the DSLR - From my pictures, you can see that the ball head locks securely enough to hold a DSLR (Canon 80D) with a rather large lens. - When open, the tripod is able to support the same camera (tested with my biggest lens) even when zoomed all the way in. It does get a little scary to balance here, but as long as you make sure one of the legs is in line with the lens, you should be ok. - The design can accept and hold an Arca Swiss adapter like the one in my photo: Desmond DAC-60 60mm QR Clamp 3/8" w 1/4" Adapter & Level Arca-Swiss Compatible for Tripod Head Quick Release which I highly recommend. Cons: - If you have a lens any bigger than the one I tested ( Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras ), then you might be a little reluctant to stand it on this. And even then, the ball head may begin to sag at that point. - Not sure how long it will last, as the legs are made of plastic (however, everything above the legs is made of metal) - Because the tripod is so short, you probably couldn't use it for photos or videos without getting some of the table (or whatever the tripod is on) in the shot. I suppose you could put it near the edge of the table though (if putting your expensive camera at the edge of the table doesn't freak you out too much) Conclusion: This thing works great to hand hold my DSLR as a video camera. Having it be a mini tripod is just a bonus for me, but a welcome one. It has been able to accommodate even my largest lens just fine. It is a bit short, which means you will need to be careful not to get the table in your shot. To add to this unit's convenience, I would recommend getting an Arca Swiss adapter to make attaching your camera faster and easier. I would recommend this tripod to anyone looking for a versatile solution to handhold their camera. I probably would not recommend it to someone who needs it primarily as a tripod since it is too low to the ground to be useful. If that's what you want, there are other, taller, table-top tripods which would probably better suit your needs. ... show more

  • Good little stand. :)
Holds my Canon EOS M50 well. It's a good little "vlogging" stand that is convenient to hold. It can be quite useful as well for some filming shots on my desk, but mostly good for walking about with my camera mounted on it. The clip/fastener on the side seems to be holding up well and doesn't shift too much - I'm not sure how much weight it can take before it no longer holds, but I think it could take a little more weight...not too too much more though ^-^ ... show more

  • Perfect for my specific needs
My favorite type of photos to take are dramatic ground-level landscape and architecture. This means I have to get very low to the ground and attempt to get my camera leveled to keep the image from coming up crooked or skewed. This has solved two out of three problems: getting the camera low and keeping the image level. The only other issue is me being able to see the digital 'viewfinder' without laying on my stomach (I use a hand-mirror, which is a decent hack for that issue) But really, this item serves me well, helps me keep the horizon straight (which vastly improves the quality of my shots and I don't have to take so many 'shoot-from-the-hip' shots just in hopes of getting it right, because I can SEE when it's technically level!) It also lets me set the camera at just the right hight for my dramatic ground shots (occasionally having to support one of the legs to level it.) I can also use it hand-held. Holding it coffee-cup-style is helpful in stabilizing my chest and head-hight shots. It's really made my style of shooting much easier. It's also very portable. This would also be useful for setting up group portraits if placed on a surface like a table or chair. One of my better purchases from 2018! ... show more

  • Everything I needed and more.
This is everything i asked for in a tabletop tripod. I bought this to use with my Canon Rebel T5i camera to carry around as i started Vloging in preparation for a road trip this summer. I figured "I can use this to practice until the trip. Then I can grab one of those gorilla pods people keep talking about". After using this, I would much rather pick up a spare one of these. The threading is machined well and screws into my camera very easily. At first I was worried about it falling off (When i first started using it) but now I have no problem carrying it with me upside down I am that confident with it. The added fact that I can set it up on any flat surface I need to very quickly and easily is a major plus for when I wanna take a break, or set it up on the ground and do a little time lapse photography. When I'm in vlog mode, I can pull the lever up and ajust the pivot head to get the right angles when I'm walking around trying to vlog. This little package is perfect if you are looking for a small tripod you can take with you on the go while also fitting in your pocket. I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a small handy solution. ... show more
