    • Camera is great but the instuctions for the APP are not thorough.

I use my smart phone to run a few wifi apps, FitBit, Pandora, even Google Maps and typically I have to recharge my phone about every 2 days. Since installing the app I have been losing 10% charge per hour, even with everything (motion detection, notifications, microphone, speaker, light, location, etc..) turned off. You literally can watch the phone battery drain every few minutes. Let me be clear about this, the camera itself works great and the camera battery is still at 98% charge after a day. Out of all the apps I have ever used I have not experienced this type of drain. I have "force stopped the app" for now. Might return the camera. I will update if the situation improves....but beware! UPDATE!!! I restarted the APP a day later after turning off all permissions in the APP settings on the phone. Then I turned on one permission and option in the settings at about 1 hour intervals. By process of elimination I was able to get the camera working in the way I had expected: getting notifications of "human" motion detection and recording short video clips. I would have given the product 5 Stars except that there really isn't any easy to follow detailed setup instructions in video or in the manual. The FAQ addresses "fast power consumption" but that only applies to the camera itself- not how the APP can drain your phone. ... show more

Estoy muy conforme con el producto, se conectó rápidamente a mi red y ya tenía algunas configuraciones básicas que me ayudaron mucho, la calidad de imagen es muy muy buena, el sensor de movimiento es muy sensible si la tienes en interiores como en mi caso, yo lo desactivo cuando llego a casa. Ya la tengo funcionando 3 días y a consumido solo un 3% de su batería considerando que use mucho de ella en las primeras configuraciones y probándola. Que pueda grabar en una tarjeta micro sd es muy útil de esa forma no tengo que contratar un servicio en la nube. La apñicación es muy intuitiva y amigable. Que lo pueda usar con Alexa es un plus, ya instalé la skill pero aún no he podido usarla por que aún no me llega el dispositivo para visualización, actualizaré mi comentario en cuando lo prueba con esa función Yo, estoy satisfecho con la relación calidad precio ... show more

I didn't expect much from this security camera because its looked pretty basic to me. However after starting to use it, I discovered that its sleek simple look was hiding a very good security device with many excellent functions. It can detect motions in a fairly wide range area. It can record the scene in total darkness (as shown in the last photo). It can sounds a loud siren and beam a brilliant strobe light. I love its intercom. Its wifi transmission is timely. It stored a lot of history as I was able to go back over 2 weeks of videos so far. Its battery is phenomenal as it lasted over 2 weeks from a single charge so far. It's also very easy to install. After having some security concerns in my neighborhood, I went looking for some decent quality cameras for a reasonable price. These were easy to set up. The interface takes some practice to navigate but is decent overall. The image quality was better than expected. I was worried at first about how well the charge would last but they have been holding up well. Based on my settings (which consume more power than the other setting options) I've only had to charge the cameras once every month or two. Overall I'm really satisfied.
