My son (age 5) has gotten into basketball recently. We wanted to get him a hoop to play on but didn't want to go the cheap route. I've seen far too many cheap baskets fall apart over time, or blow over in storms. We also wanted something he could grow with, so getting an adjustable was really important to us. This hoop has been great for us the past few months. I was able to put it together myself, which was nice. All needed tools are included. Once built and filled (we used water), this thing is a tank. Almost to the point where moving it would be difficult. The adjustment on this is super simple to do and my 5 year old is able to do it by himself. Will just warn you, this thing is huge, but again that makes it more sturdy and durable. The included target/rebounder/passer is a nice inclusion but the angle and location make it not as useable as we would have thought.

We bought this for our teenage son about 18 months ago. He loves BB and uses it daily. After about a year, the hoop height started to slide down about an inch or two every day. This wasn't a big deal as it just required that he turn the crank to push it back up. However, it was an indication that the height arm was failing. This summer it broke completely with the hoop slamming down which caused the whole system to fall over. It seems like a weak point in the design to have all the weight of the hoop on one small metal pin. I contacted customer service. After providing my invoice number and pictures of the broken piece, I was really surprised that they just sent me a full replacement adjustable arm for free. I was expecting to pay for the part. Customer service got the part mailed out very quickly and maintained contact with me to make sure that it fit and worked properly. I am impressed that the company stood by their product and replaced the failed piece. That is rare these days. The hoop overall is well built and functions properly. I would 100% recommend this company based on the product, but more importantly, the customer service after the purchase.

A great hoop! The height adjuster is awesome, best yet, super customer service. We purchased the hoop in July 2024. Easy to put together and maintain. In December we had an extreme wind gust that toppled the hoop, bending the height adjuster unit. I contacted the company for a replacement part, sending a picture of the damage adjuster. The rep/owner was so helpful, putting the replacement part int he mail, with in a short period of I we received the part, installing it with ease, now we are back to adjusting the height for the adults and the grand kids. Edit: after reading my initial 3-star review, the company reached out and more than made up for the initial customer service experience. Bumping up to 5 stars. Original: When we first got the net, it was missing two parts. Called customer service and they sent out replacement parts no problem, but it took another week to get them. Then we got about 80% through assembly and found that the bracket that holds the crank bar for adjusting height was too narrow. By a lot (see photo). They asked us to text a picture, then wrote back "Can you bend it, or use some tools?" When I wrote back saying we didn't have any tools to bend it, they said they'd replace it. I asked if they could overnight it, given this is the second issue we ran into. They said, "We don't cover that kind of service." We tired a bunch of different things and eventually figured it out, but it was a pain and shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. So not a great start. At this point, I would have given it one star. The support was neither helpful nor professional. But now that it's up and we've used it for a week, it's a nice hoop. Stable, nice backboard, and we're having a lot of fun with it. Two other notes: if you're debating backboard size, go 54". We have a smallish driveway, but it's worth it. And sand as a filler works really well (we put 300 lbs of sand in and probably could have added more).

Overall I am happy with the purchase. It was easy to put together for just one person (myself, a 33 yr old female). It seems sturdy when base is fully filled with sand. Only issue we've found is that when we went to put it away for the winter, when we tipped it on it's side, a WHOLE bunch of water drained out from the backboard frame. This could easily lead to early rusting. In the spring when we get it back out, we plan to drill some drain holes on the bottom of the backboard frame so it doesn't retain rain water and rust out early.

Searching all the stores, this seems to be the best value for the money. Instructions could have been better but only took about an hour. Base seems solid. The rebounder works well and the height adjustment is very smooth.
