I used this straight reducer silicone coupler on my 2015 Silverado, and it worked out perfectly with the aftermarket cold air intake. The ease of installation was great, the hose slid on cleanly, and the included T-bolt clamps tightened down without any hassle. The build quality feels solid, the 4-ply silicone has good rigidity without being tough to work with, and the durability seems reliable for long-term use under the hood. For the price, the value for money is definitely there. I went with the black outside and red inside option, you can’t really see the red once it’s installed, just a slight ring of color, but it actually adds a clean, subtle pop in an otherwise all-black engine bay. This is great for fitting the MAF on your Silverado to a cold air intake. Most cold air intakes are 4” and the Silverado MAF is 3 3/4”. This works perfect. Don’t use one of those sleeve adapters- just get this. T-clamps are a nice touch also. Quality item.

Picked this up to mate a 92mm throttle body to a 100mm intake and it worked perfectly. A 100mm coupler could work, but would flare out behind the clamp on the 92mm side, and my OCD just wouldn't allow that. This looks factory. It's a really nice tight fit on both ends without being a complete strugglefest trying to get it on. The clamps are a'ight, and will work fine for a NA application, would probably even be ok under boost because of how well the coupler fits. Mine appeared to have already been tried on by someone, but zero damage. Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase and I would recommend, especially if you have the same sort of application. ... show more
