TBH I was extremely skeptical on buying this microwave drawer after seeing the mixed reviews and the price on the higher end.Anyways, I had to get one for my kitchen Island and had no other choices for a 30” Microwave drawer. I took my chances and to my surprise the quality is great, works amazing and gives a good look and feel to my kitchen Island. It’s been 3 months since I bought this and is working great till now. Totally loving it!!

The size was as anticipated. We replaced a hooded vent with this unit so we had to wire an outlet in place. The top template was off 1” for the bolts we had to screw in. There were only two toggle bolts provided. Because we only had one stud, we bought two more to make it more sturdy. It took 3 of us to set the microwave in place, two to lift and one to guide the cord and screw in the bolts. All said and done, it took us 8-9 hours. Now that we have it up, it cooks thoroughly. Popcorn pops to the last kernel without burning. The fan circulates well and the lights are nice and bright on my cook surface. I chose an overhead to free up counter space. It fits well with my other appliances and has a nice look.

The microwave drawer was not working properly. I called the manufacturer as it still under warranty. It took them weeks to get back to me. A technician recently texted me and said he was coming by to take a look at it. It does not work. The drawer opens and closes and the numbers countdown. But it does not heat up the food unless the door is pressed manually. 😒 As a follow up update on my past review. Koolmore communicated with me; and sent a new unit to replace the inevitable that was damaged. It was sent to me within days after our conversation. The customer person I spoke to gets a 5 stars from me. They were very helpful and courteous. The new unit will be installed in the upcoming days. The koolmore company was very sensitive to my needs and was helpful with the new ordered microwave. I changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars because when we communicated over the issue with the representative he decided to replace the unit and the issue was resolved. I will have the new one installed within a week and the representative has followed up with me to make sure the new unit is working properly. I will keep the update on the new unit. Thank you koolmore for your fast response and trying to making sure am satisfied.

Update: After a few months this already stopped working. What a disaster, stay away. The name should have given it away. I received this and was hopeful that a non name brand might just be a good choice for once, but I was wrong. I should have known the steep price discount was offered for a reason...it wasn't to be nice it was to force this into my possession to deal with returning.

This is a really nice microwave. I initially had a problem in that the door was damaged and I was getting bounced around between Amazon and the vendor in getting a replacement. However, a customer service representative from the vendor eventually contacted me and quickly resolved my issue which I greatly appreciated.

This oven is in addition to my standard wall oven. I bought it to replace my countertop hot air fryer. So I would a have a built-in air fryer, pretty much. Only negative I could give is that it doesn't get my food quite as crispy as my small air fryer did. It goes to 450, which is more than the air fryer, so I wonder if it's because its twice the size. The size though, it's a great size cuz I can fit more food at once. And, it doesn't take up too much room, because it's not a full size oven. AND, it gives me a 2nd microwave. as well. Very helpful. Maybe if I could have accommodated a 240 outlet I would have gotten oven that would make for me crispy food.

Install wasn’t too bad. Plan for an hour. Build quality is fine for the price. The problem for me is that I ordered a 24” because I had exactly a 24” space with cupboards on each side, as I suspect most people would. But the door opens/hinges beyond the 24”. And hits my cupboard door. That’s not obvious until you are done installing and try to open the door. Terrible door design unfortunately.
