solid silicone no issues

used this 45 degree elbow in a turbo intake setup and it handled the heat and boost pressure no problem. the 4 ply construction feels way more substantial than the cheap alternatives I tried before. clamps down tight and zero leaks after a few months.

Great quality and has a nice sturdy feel to it. Haven't tested under boost, but it appears they will hold up real good. Although, the finishing on these is not nice. They are dust/dirt magnets. For some reason, the surface is a little sticky, which means that even when I put them on the desk, dust and dirt particles clung on and wouldn't remove easily. After some driving, they collected dust and don't look shiny nor new.
