Very simple to use, makes nice ice cubes, especially on the L setting. We dump the ice cubes in the freezer and then put them in the ice dispenser in the refrigerator that no longer makes ice. The unit is compact, good price and a great way to make ice if your ice maker in your refrigerator does not work.

I purchased one several years ago, and it is working well. I only have a question about their claim of "self-cleaning." In the ice machine cleaning category, chlorine is needed, but there is no reservior of any disinfectant and no UV lighting. Interesting claim.

I didn't think I was going to like an ice machine, but it turned out to be a wonderful item! I turn it on in the morning, make one batch of ice, and then turn it off. Years ago, the line to my icemaker in my fridge broke, flooding my entire house. THIS is so much safer than having extra water lines. I just fill it up with filtered water, then dump the ice. It's also small enough that you can take it with you on vacation, where often, vacation homes, RVs, and hotels don't have ice makers.

The media could not be loaded. It's really loud and only makes like 7 of the smallest ice cubes at a time. It needs to run for about 2 hours before you can get any usable amount of ice out of it. This would only be good for one person, maybe at your office or home bar. It also started doing some cycle thats not listed in the manual. I have to unplug it to get it to stop.
