It works really well as a storage space for the ice, it holds about 4 trays worth in the base, but i also keep the trays separate from the base piece. Sometimes the ice gets stuck in the tray and you have to really work to get it out but a quick slap to the back of the tray and it usually comes right out.

We were looking forward to this ice cube tray system thinking it would be much easier than the old-fashioned twist trays and it is easier until you go to remove the ice. It comes with 2 trays which is nice (although the cube size is smaller than what you think it will be) and the container plus a handy scoop. You just fill the trays with water, freeze them and then place it upside down on top of the container then place the container's lid (which has many plastic 'spikes') and press into the ice cube tray. Well, the theory is that the 'spikes' will push the cubes out at once into the container with little effort. Unfortunately the spikes don't really reach the ice cube squares to push them out and the tray doesn't fit on top of the container snugly so it moves around if you apply a little pressure to remove the ice cubes. We ended up ejecting the cubes with our fingers, like those fidget toys or similar to bubble wrap, lol. They didn't eject easily, you needed to push kind of hard which defeats the purpose of this being an 'easy' ice cube tray. Another thing to mention is that the container is smaller which is great for tight freezers or apartment size but it also means the cubes are smaller. We are returning it as we got it for the 'easy eject' feature which doesn't work.

Easy to use despite nerve damage in my wrists. Ice pops right out with the lid pressing into the trays and it's a nice size for freezing and storing.

I love this product !! The ice tray is so convient to fill and remove the ice cubes!! 10/10 reccommed if you need a new ice cube tray. The best part is the scooper! Will definitely be buying more in future.

I am so glad I ended up purchasing these ice trays. I have saved so much money not having to buy bags of ice. I will say that the container doesn't hold much ice but it is nice to have to keep ice in to make it easier and faster to grab ice on the go. Also it takes up more room that you'd think because when you fill up the trays you can't stack them and put them back in your freezer, if you do the bottom tray won't freeze besides that it is amazing
