The Magnet is weak and doesn't hold strong enough to trust on a golf cart. I was able to remove the rubber backing and use double sided tape to secure. It's not a total fail for me, but I can see why it did for others. If you try to use this, just test it before putting in your phone. If it doesn't hold try what I did or return it. Exactly what I wanted until I put it on a golf cart. Do not trust this product to hold your phone if you are going over any bumps. Hole thing fell off with my phone attached, luckily I had a screen protector because it shattered it. Magnets pretty strong but not strong enough. Rest of the item works good. ... show more

    • Didn't hold on a 1x1 pillar on the golf cart
It'll hold on the 1x1 pillar of the golf cart if you stay on paths, but if you go over some bumps throughout the course this holder came off holding my Galaxy 23 Ultra multiple times. not happy with it. I don't golf the fancy courses that have all paved cart paths.

By far my favorite accessory on the course. It holds the phone secure in any position. Magnet is strong which, keeps the mount fastened wherever you decide to put it. Does not move on on bumps or uneven terrain. Great size, you can throw it in your bag or your pocket.

    • Magnet not strong enough to hold phone - cost me $400 for a screen repair
I have to admit I was concerned when I purchased this cell phone holder. I did some test driving, hitting some bumps and being careful to catch the phone if it feel It initially worked well so I used it on the golf course. On the 16th hole I hit a tiny bump on the cart path and the phone and holder fell to the ground and the cart ran over the phone with the back tire. My guess is the magnet was sliding to one side and eventually just dropped. Cost me $400 to have the screen replaced. If the magnet was longer and the same width as a standard golf cart frame I think this would be more stable. ... show more
