I bought my first set about 3 years ago. Since then I have gifted at least 6 sets to gardening friends and family. This purchase is my back up set for when my husband mislays mine. During the growing season my clippers get used and washed daily. So far, no rust, the blades are still nice and sharp, no degradation in function, and they still look new. My husband buys me flowers every week. I like to trip the bottoms of the stems to keep them fresh and last longer. I keep these in the kitchen drawer and they work well

The small snips the spring doesn't stay connected so I'm constantly having to fix it when cutting flowers. Overall I like both and they do good for cutting flowers.
