I love my little firepit/grill. I'm a vegetarian and got rid of my grill long ago since I no longer grilled meat but this is a game changer. The grill comes off if you don't want to use it but great for grilling veg kaboobs and beyond meat burgers, etc. I did put the sand in the bottom as was suggested. It has lots of holes all around it to promote airflow which is good for the fire. One big drawback was the metal tubing that was supposed to fit around the top. I worked on it for about 20 minutes and then decided it wasn't worth the trouble. I will recycle that metal. Shame I had to pay for it. They need a better design there. Still love it tho!

What I like is that lighting this brings my family together to talk to laugh to share time together. Not very light with the suggested sand in the bottom. Feels sturdy when it is moved to mow the grass under it.

There is some gapping on the ring around the pit but it hasn’t fallen apart so it seems ok.
