I have wanted this tree for a couple years. Finally got it on sale. This is the worst tree I have ever seen. Hobby lobby trees are much more realistic. Tree is not 6’5” no idea how they measure it’s barely 6’ in the stand. Color is not at all realistic and look like cheap plastic. I will be sending it back because it is not a 500-600 dollar tree. It looks like a dollar store tree. I can’t afford to buy another tree so this is upsetting! Do not waste your time ... show more

    • Don’t waste your money
I was so excited to buy a Balsam Hill tree, thinking it would last for years. First year I noticed that it wouldn’t stand straight but I put a book under leg of the stand! Second year the lights on the whole top section were out and all bulbs were black. I ordered a new strand of lights but, of course, they’re a bit of a different shade of warm white! 🤣. Honestly now I’m waiting on the rest to burn out so at least they’ll all be the same color!!! ... show more

We bought this tree because we wanted a really nice artificial tree that would last. It is a cheap piece of junk. Tips started falling off as soon as we unboxed it. It is unbelievably wobbly. One of the strings of lights won’t light because according to our volt meter there’s no current running through one wire. The shipped a string as a courtesy but it was all busted up when it arrived and wasn’t the proper string for our tree anyway. Cheaply made, poor customer service…never again! My daughter got an even larger one and hers is falling apart. Not worth the money. Just a big aggrivation. ... show more

    • Prelite lasted 3 years wouldn't credit anything
1st purchase of an artificial prelite tree, was easy to assemble and no mess or care for the 1st 3 years. Christmas #4,the top section lights went out a few days after set up, all of them were black. Contacted BH customer service and was told I was out of warranty but they would send me a replacement strand next September 2023 as they were out of stock. I bought my own strand and the same issue occurred on the top tier were all the lights blew. Attempting to remove all the prelite strands proved immensely time consuming so the $500 tree is heading to the trash adding to our landfill. I really wanted a very natural and good looking tree - this is it. I love it - it looked so attractive in our living room. It is very easy to assemble, has nice lighting attached to the tree, comes with good instructions, and a storage bag that makes it easy to store away.
