  • Easily siphon nasty tank water
Pattern Name: 1 - Gravel
This Aquarium Gravel Cleaner has made tank maintenance so much easier and faster. The air pressing button starts the siphon in seconds, so there’s no priming or disgusting mouth siphoning involved. Suction is strong enough to pull out debris and waste from the gravel without disturbing the entire substrate. I really like the built in water flow controller clamp, which lets me manage the speed and avoid any mess. The hose length is generous and works well for larger tanks. Everything feels durable and well designed for regular use. If you want water changes to be quicker and cleaner, this kit is absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • AIR-PRESSING BOTTON WATER CLEANER
Pattern Name: 1 - Gravel
It is easy to put together and easy to use. I used it with the orange tip because I have small fish. It sucks out the water fast, but it does pick up the junk on the bottom. the filter gets plugged up with all the junk. I tried to use the regulator on the hose, but it would not pick up any junk. While cleaning the sand it was picking up a lot of sand and it was not releasing it since it had the tip. It sucked half of the water out and I still did not finish cleaning the bottom. I think if you were to clean it every other week or at least once a month, you should be good. This fishtank had 1 year without being cleaned out and I think that's why I couldn't clean it out completely, but it does look better. ... show more

  • Makes Water Changes Fast and Much Easier
Pattern Name: 1 - Gravel
The hygger gravel cleaner has made routine tank maintenance way less of a hassle. The air-pressing button works surprisingly well—it primes the siphon quickly without having to manually start suction, which saves time and keeps things cleaner. The suction power is strong enough to pull out debris from the gravel while leaving most of the substrate in place. It does a good job removing waste and leftover food during water changes. The hose is long enough to comfortably reach a bucket, and the flow control clamp is helpful for adjusting the water speed so it doesn’t drain too fast. The build quality feels sturdy for regular home use, and assembly was simple right out of the box. It’s especially useful for small to medium tanks where you want efficient cleaning without dragging out complicated equipment. Overall, this is a practical, affordable tool that makes water changes quicker and less messy. Definitely a helpful addition to regular aquarium maintenance. ... show more

  • Suction gun doesn't work after 1 use
Pattern Name: 1 - Gravel
I've purchased two of these in total, about a month apart. The first one worked great the first time I used it. The second one worked great the first time I used it as well. Today I tried to use the newest one (the second one) again, because it's a new tank and I'm doing multiple water changes as my fish are new too and are getting quarantine meds. But it won't work. It just doesn't suck up water. The trigger gun suction is the whole beauty of this item and it doesn't work after just one use. I'm returning it. But I still need to do a water change so I went and grabbed the first one (the older one) and tried to use that one, and same exact deal. Zero suction. That trigger gun just has no ooomph now. You can feel the difference when you're pulling the trigger. It's crazy that it just stopped working after one time for both of them! They could not have worked more perfectly the first time I used each of them. So to recap, I have two of these that only worked one time each. One is outside the 30-day return period by about 8 days and one is inside of it and is being returned. I will contact Hygger about the one that's outside of the return period. It's too expensive of an item for a one-time use only. I have no idea how I just randomly happened to get two bad ones or if people are just not updating their original reviews, but buyer beware. They don't last like they should. Hygger is a good name, or at least I thought it was supposed to be good, but this is not a quality product like I would have expected from them. ... show more

  • Hard to get started
Pattern Name: 1 - Gravel
You have to 'pump' this thing by pulling it's little trigger SO MUCH before it gets going that your hand will cramp up. But once it's going it works well and I like the narrower opening. I have a planted tank, I don't need to get everything, just some excess gunk from the top/front part of the gravel. I wish it had a different sort of pump, maybe more like a little handle you could pull with multiple fingers, not a little trigger. If this breaks I'll probably buy something else that you prime differently. But this is better than the gravity one I had before. ... show more

  • Good quality parts, really neat.
Pattern Name: 1 - Gravel
This was really cool. I didn't end up keeping it because it didn't work for what I tried using it for (not a fish tank), but it was easy to put together and very good quality for parts. Needs the water you're moving to be higher up than the output bucket. Really nice design and when I tried it for how it's supposed to work, it functioned perfectly. Not a weird size or hard to handle, and generally quiet because it's a manual-kind of thing. ... show more
