The media could not be loaded. First, yes I cut lthe mold. Just a preference, saves me work space. I filmed the video because so many reviews said how difficult it was to fill the mold, and I wanted to share my lil hack for little hard ti fill molds. I use a precision tip bottle 1/2 & 1 ounce. I got them from Amazon and use black ones for UV resin. They are so nice to use, although I did put a bigger tip in the cap. Last, I guess cutting the mold does make it easier to demold and clean and I've been making lots of rings with them for weeks now. I have been looking for a faceted ring mold for almost a year. Everyone I saw thr ring was really thick, the band stuck out and I just know alot of people do not like that. These rings are perfect. You can't feel it between your fingers like those thick ones, yay! I actually came back here to buy a couple more. 7-4-23 update, still loving this mold and just got my third one as I make many rings at a time.

First, I will say that it was nice that both the dog and girl are in one mold which is nice. Also the mold is thick and very flexible so I anticipate it will hold up quite well over time with careful cleaning. The pieces released easy from the mold and the mold is easy to clean. The reason for only 3 stars is that the entire interior of both molds (dog and girl) are dull instead of shiny, resulting in the front of both pieces being very dull like candle sides instead of shiny as cured resin pieces should be. My photos show the cured pieces (front and back) after being released from the mold. I decided to attempt to polish the front sides, and after a lot of elbow grease and special polish was able to make the front sides look presentable. There would also be nothing wrong with displaying the back sides since they have the polish, but the smiles on the dog and girl are on the front of the mold, so if you want those to be seen with the pieces on display, it's just something to consider. Having said all this, I will be making more of these pieces with the mold I purchased because they make wonderful gifts for my dog-loving friends, but would not even consider giving them as gifts without sanding then polishing the front sides.

I own an Etsy shop for resin rings. After 2 years of trial and error, I’ve determined that this is the only ring mold I will EVER use again. Like any other silicone molds, eventually they wear down. So, I've purchased 11 within the last two years and could not be more pleased!! The only other reason I’ve purchased so many is so that I can have multiple in each size. The texture on the outside is gorgeous and my customers absolutely love them!! 200/10 recommend
