This is a fun electronic basketball goal. Assembly was fairly easy and everything works well. The electronic sensor scores great with every shot. The one thing I'm not fond of is the way they made the hooks over the door. The way it's designed won't allow the top of the backboard to line up with the bottom and it sticks out. The pads would help protect it and keep the backboard flush, but there's a gap. Still seems to work well, so it's a minor thing. ... show more

Our grandchildren absolutely love this thing. Easy assembly and sturdy. The scoring and sound effects makes it shine above the old version we had. Being able to see scores and having a timer just enhances the play and makes everyone want to play. Looks like it's a win for grandma!

I bought this for my boys, ages 4 and 8. I hung it in our living room and it has become something we use almost daily. My kids' favorite part about the hoop is the count down timer. I also noticed once the announcer says "Crunch Time" the buckets scored are worth 3 points instead of 2, which adds a really cool and unique feature to the board. We find ourselves scrambling during the last 15 seconds to try to get as many more last second points as we can. I've dunked on the board a few times, as has my eldest son, and I can attest to its durability so far. This thing is awesome and much nicer than the ones I had growing up. My only complaint that is very minor is I wish the mounting bracket came with a shim or some padding as it is a bit larger than my door, so I do have to tilt the hoop up to get my door closed. This was a great toy investment for my 12 yo. As parents, we all want to get a high ‘Return On Investment’ for toys, but so often they fall short. As children age, finding fun gifts that are not screams can be incredibly tough. My son loves hockey and basketball, I was tired of hearing him whack the walls practicing hockey inside, when I saw this indoor basketball hoop, I knew it would be perfect. he plays with it all day, using The Score/buzzer, but also just shooting hoops around. I like that he can do something other than screens, be in his room, but will not break a window, crack, his fish tank, or dent his wall. He plays alone and with his sisters. The younger kids love seeing the score light up. Easy to assemble, comes with all the pieces you need. This is a great toy for your own child or a gift for another. Wanted to get a little hoop for our game room for the kids (and adult kids) to play in the winter. The hoop went together without issue. The quality of the hoop and backboard are actually quite good. It's very sturdy, and mounts on most doors without issue. The quality of the hoop, backboard, and mounts are exactly what I was hoping for. Then there is the obnoxious game/scoreboard. The concept is great. I like how the scoreboard is mounted behind the hoop, and shows through when you are shooting. It has a couple game modes, and both are pretty bad. At least the one I got is. I tried the timed shooting, and it was ok. But it would randomly blurt out stuff, and never finished the count down. It is very loud. The speaker is obviously in the back of the hoop, so I am sure they felt the need to "crank it up" so you can hear it from 5-10 feet away. But man, it's annoying. We plan on using it, but probably won't be using the scoreboard or built in games. Seemed very glitchy as well. I just wanted a sturdy hoop and some balls, and that's what I got. So I am still going to give it 4 stars, but if you have your heart set on the built in games - you might be disappointed. ... show more
