This is an addendum to my previous review. When I receive this there was no written instructions. I don't do well with pictures but figured it out. I thought I was missing a dome and I texted the phone number provided and someone texted me back and said they might be stuck together and they were. Within a week there was greens sprouting out of the garden. The pump is quiet. There is a water lever indicator but I didn't realize it had a minimum and maximum level line for a week yet the greens were growing. Plant food was provided. I think children would love this. I am enjoying watching the greens grow. I have the smaller one and it takes very little space on the counter. The lights are bright when on. I would buy it again. Thank you.

This product was easy to put together and gave me some nice little plants. I have cleaned it out monthly but the pump it comes with doesn’t work. I wasn’t sure if it was just quiet or dead. It’s def dead. Other than that, it’s a pretty little thing that makes ok plants.

Working like a charm so far I was hesitant to buy a new indoor herb garden at first. My old model had served me well and I wasn't sure if this new one would really be an improvement. But after using it for a few weeks, I have to say that I'm very impressed with it. It's much smaller in person and more aesthetically pleasing than my older model. I like the gold color. It is clearly a big step up from my older indoor herb garden in terms of aesthetics due to a taller and narrower design. The water pump is also quiet, you can’t tell that it’s on. Overall, very satisfied. It’s a great choice if you are looking for an unobtrusive indoor gardening solution. Plus, the LED lights have a much more natural hue than my old model, which is great for creating a soothing indoor environment. I can say without hesitation that this upgrade was definitely worth it. It's reliable, easy to use, and a real space-saver for my relatively small countertop.

That being said, great for growing herbs or flowers. I use mine to grow basil, oregano and tomatoes. It’s very easy to maintain. Just fill with water, turn on to veggies or flowers setting, pop in the pods and starts to grow in a few days. PROS: Lights are less harsh than others I’ve used. Light adjusts height as the plants grow you can raise it. Water height meter works better than others I’ve used Runs very quiet. CONS: Only 5 spots to grow. My last one had 8. Plants like basil tend to outgrow the light height and you either have to cut back significantly or pull them out and re pot them.
