Wow. I should have gone with AC Infinity brand gear from the get-go. I'm kicking myself for not buying AC Infinity initially. This carbon filter is real nice. Especially if you're used to the cheap Amazon brand ones, like iPower. Not only is it made ALOT nicer, I think it works better too. I don't know about how long it'll last, yet, but if I had to make a guess, I'll still be using this carbon filter in late 2026, if not longer than that. Arrived in good shape and super fast too. I cannot recommend AC Infinity brand stuff enough. If you're spending your money on the lower cost brands, you'll actually save money by only having to buy once, instead of multiple times in the same time period. So, plz, stop wasting your money on lower cost brands, like iPower. I promise you that you'll wind up spending less, over time, buying AC Infinity.

SIGNIFICANTLY reduces odors inside my grow tent. This is a must have product. I can’t imagine how my house would smell without it, not that I would mind. If you have guests who are “sensitive to the smell” then you should definitely consider getting this.

I bought this as a hood vent recirculating air filter, I tried different "activated carbon" filter sheets and they never worked, so I decided to give this a try. It is still early in the verdict but my wife cooked bacon twice and this captured the smell completely. I didn't even know she was cooking bacon until I stepped into the kitchen. We were very happy. I will update this again after she fries something else but as of now we are very happy in this application. We don't know how long it will last but its cheap enough to buy once a year and well worth it. I don't see why it wouldn't work if the filters sold for hood vents are called activated carbon sheets. The only thing she doesn't like is that the tip points out in our kitchen, but the black dust cover makes it where it doesn't look bad, it is a lot shorter than we initially thought. I did try to use flexible duct to hide it better but 6 in duct is huge so decided to install directly to the 6in output of the hood vent. I will note I have a very high end hood vent rated for about 600CFM airflow. I read somewhere this filter reduced the CFM by 50% but I'd say it works perfect with my vent even at its lowest speed which I'd guess is 200CFM. I also like the black/dark color, makes it more discrete in the kitchen.
