I have what is essentially a grow tent, except I don't grow anything in it and sleep in it instead. Because the air in there automatically gets thick n' clammy (like a good chowder), I bought an AC Infinity.. uhh.. T series? S series? The one that HAS the electronic control stuff-- inline fan. I also bought some of their ducting, and then used some generic 4" bits and pieces to make stuff work to pump fresh are into my sleeping pod. However, I noticed that I was waking up, kind of often, with a pretty bad smell in my nose. Sometimes, I'd know what it was, other times not, but I bought one of these filters for the intake side, and I'm able to draw in air from my room and give it a nice fresh non-scent. It hasn't messed with airflow too, too terribly, and I am still able to pick up air conditioned air when I want it by placing the filter at the outflowing vent of my AC. The first day or two, the non-smell in my room (basically, a smell unto itself-- almost sweet) was intoxicating. I also noticed-- as dumb as this will sound-- that the air felt smooth, as though it was almost too easy to breathe. Long story short, I'm very pleased, continue to be impressed with AC Infinity (I have a few of their hobby/kit fans, also) and find all their stuff well worth the money. ... show more

The 10 inch AC Infinity carbon filter proved to be well worth it. You know your not doing it right when you buy a huge exhaust and your inline can't compare because you can visibly see the tent outside looking sucked in and skinny. Replaced carbon filter with AC Infinity and immediately the tent started to balloon out looking like a huge fatty on the outside instead all sucked in and wrong. I finally got this thing right and the plants threw a huge party and whipped around as soon as I put them in the tent, so all in all this one is the buy you need for your grow. ... show more
