Really well built piece of kit. The helmet is really ergonomic and resilient. Also very comfortable. Gloves are great as well. Love the hearing protection and face guard too. You can swing them out of the way when you’re not using them and they’ll stay put.

Overall satisfied with this purchase. The biggest complaint is the gloves. The gloves are thin general purpose gloves, they are not chainsaw specific gloves. The helmet works well, but is challenging to assemble. The chaps are nice and feel well made. In the future, I would purchase these items separately as there is not a savings compared to individual purchase due to the bundle including thin, cheaply made gloves. ... show more

Really well made, everything you need to be safe when using a chainsaw. Prior to getting this package I only used safety glasses and gloves, then a friend of mine had a saw kick back and cut his face, so getting this was a no-brainer. The helmet is a must, the chaps are icing on the cake.

I use all the items daily on the job as an arborist ground crew leader in the Pacific Northwest. Our jobs are the toughest, and everything has held up great, except for the gloves which gave out after 160 hours of use. The chaps have held up very nicely, along with the face shield and hard hat. The ear protection is super quick to cover and take off, making it easy for quick hearing protection on short quick zips.
