For easy handling, this gas chainsaw features LowVib technology to reduce vibration levels, lessening operator fatigue. This Husqvarna chainsaw is equipped with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system, that removes larger dust and debris particles before they reach the air filter. A powerful and efficient 2.4-HP X-Torq engine uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.53 US pint or 0.25 L tank volume).

This medium sized chainsaw is a “workhorse.” It is durable & powerful. It is the second one I have had. The 1st met its demise due to a chemical mishap, but it had run reliably for a decade. This updated version has all the good safety features, starts easily & the improved chain cuts through oak trees like a hot knife through butter. It is just the right size with its 18” bar. I have contacted Husqvarna several times about this problem and I never get the same answer or I just get blown off. I have used it one time for about 20 minutes just normal use around my yard. When I finished I put it in my workshop on my bench. When I came back the next day to do some more work the chain oil was everywhere and now it will not hold chain oil which makes it useless to me. Like I said I have contacted Husqvarna several times since I got it and a lot of nothing. I had a problem in the past with a weed wacker and there customer serves was no help with that either so as much as I like there products I can't recommend them because if you have a problem your on your own! ... show more

Works great. The price was a good deal. My husband used it a lot. Just don't let your husband lend it to a friend that burns it up and brings it back not running and the plastic melted in some areas.
