Description

Lightweight, efficient and easy to use, the Husqvarna 120 Gas Chainsaw is a great addition to tree cutting equipment and landscaping tools. This 16 inch chainsaw makes light work of cutting firewood, light felling and limbing. This chainsaw features an air purge system that removes air from the carburetor and fuel system for easy starting, plus a combined choke/stop control reduces the risk of engine flooding. In addition, a simple tensioning system allows for quick adjustments and an inertia-activated chain brake reduces the likelihood of injury due to kickback. LowVib technology reduces vibration levels to lessen operator fatigue and allow for easier handling. The Husqvarna chainsaw is equipped with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system, that removes larger dust and debris particles before they reach the air filter, improving engine life and reducing air filter cleanings. An efficient 1.8-HP X-Torq engine uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.32 US pint or 0.15 L tank volume). Each chainsaw Husqvarna creates comes with an extended warranty on pre-mixed fuel: extend your warranty from 2 years to 5 years by purchasing 96 fluid ounces of fuel at the time of your purchase of select handheld products.

I normally never write reviews but this product blew me away. This was my first gas chainsaw I've ever used and it was surprisingly easy to handle and use. The setup and instructions were clear and concise with optional videos you can lookup. I like the fact you can throw on the 18" bar for the extra length. It handled fresh blackwalnut with ease. Easy to start and good run time. Put in several hours on it and I am pleased with the results. Excellent for freehand milling which is the primary use of mine. The lightweight aspect is key for this as I feel confident in its control and cutting capacity with each pass. Recommend for any weekend warrior and homeowner. Easy to transport.     • First one died within 10 mins
After start up and following all user instructions. And mixing oil exactly like manual states…. I used to cut a stump in my back yard. I dug away all dirt, and had it all exposed and dirt free. Even dig about 18 down all the way around and rinsed the entire stump off. Then let all water drain and dry overnight before starting. The first 15 mins was great. It was cutting through no problem. I got about 3/4 of the way around and while cutting the RPMs drilled radically and then stopped instantly. I took it aside and started looking then slowly tried to pulled the cable to turn it over. Engine was locked up hard. Something happened internally. It had catastrophic engine/mechanical failure. I would imagine that the clearance for the piston rings, crankshaft bearings, wrist pins, or connecting rod bearing was just not built with correct tolerance. Just must have been a fluke manufacturing failure. I wrote Amazon and they had one sitting on my porch the next morning when I woke up. So hats off to them. It happened at sundown and was at least another hour until I was able to try and order another. So that was great! I ended up finishing the job with another chainsaw I own that evening. Haven’t had another opportunity to fire up this one again. So hopefully this one is better than the last. Because it only lasted 10-15 mins. And it was about 71 degrees out when it happened. So it wasn’t over heating and I wasn’t letting the rpms fly. ... show more

Nice saw, plenty of power to cut through good size tree limbs for firewood. I haven't used it for anything larger than the 16" saw blade but works great on the 8 - 12 inch logs. Just what I needed.
