  • Battery’s corrode
Size: 33.4 x 3.2 x 2.8 cm / 13.1” x 1.2” x 1.1”
Much lighter than other torque wrenches, the main reason for purchase. That and it’s ability to torque in either direction. I don’t like the idea of corrosion within the electronics from leaving battery’s in the wrench, the beep is nice when alone and quiet but outside at a race or other venue and it easily goes unnoticed. Also, the setting of the torque value is tedious and finicky. Don’t accidentally switch scales when setting the torque and under/over tighten the bolt either. ... show more

  • Quality 1/4" inch torque wrench
Size: 1-20 Nm
This torque wrench seems of good quality and accuracy. However, it's expensive for a small tiny torque wrench. It's mostly for small jobs like bicycles and small bolts but very much needed when dealing with carbon fiber and aluminum parts so you don't end up cracking or braking them by using too much force or torque. The only thing though, I didn't know it's for hex bits and only found out later after I got it. So the solution? I just bought a 1/4" inch Hex to square adapter so that it work like a regular ratchet and accept 1/4" inch sockets. (Note: The bigger size wrench does come with an square which is 3/8" inch. It's only this smaller 1/4" 1-20 Nm that comes as a Hex ratchet.) The description and pictures don't mention this so pay attention and ask before you buy. Lastly, for such an expensive wrench it only has a warning beep when it should have warning lights also. I found out that similar small wrenches from another brands like "Solude" have warning lights & sound and cost considerably less. ... show more

  • Torque like a boss
Size: 33.4 x 3.2 x 2.8 cm / 13.1” x 1.2” x 1.1”
Beep! No guessing. The 4-80 Nm version is large and in charge and covers a more comprehensive range than the smaller 1-20 Nm version. I also have the Topeak Ratchet Rocket Lite NTX+ (2-6 Nm). Between these two, I can torque like a boss and have a great time maintaining and servicing my mountain bike. These tools are pricey but worth it. ... show more

  • No need to Reset
Size: 1-20 Nm
Manual click style wrench’s should be Reset to zero when done. Prevents having to get it recalibrated. Since this is digital, no longer required. Love the tone and the digital display shows you exactly what you torqued to on the last pull in case you went over.

  • I recommend it,well made and very precise.
Size: 1-20 Nm
Works very well,I’m planning to buy the other version, mine is the one that can handle only 20 nm of torque, the other goes to 80 nm of torque,if you have a expensive bike is worth it,you really don’t want to make any damage to your aluminum or carbon fiber frame, the repairs or replacement can be way to expensive,I recommend this wrench for precision when comes to adjust to an specific torque. ... show more

  • This is pretty great.
Size: 1-20 Nm
I got the wrench and it is simple to use, it comes with one AA battery and instructions and a nice case. The case holds the wrench and the bits tightly and protects the wrench. The wrench is so easy to use. It is reversible for those left hand threads. This is one of the few that I could find that will go as low as 2 newton-meters for working on some parts of bicycles. The wrench will beep as you get to the setting. It works well that way. You can look at the digital display while you are using it and see when the beep occurs. But the beep works will for those many times when you can't see the display. All the bits are nice, nothing extra special. It comes with calibration paperwork from the factory calibration. I think it said +/- 2% or maybe even lower. Really nice. ... show more

  • Tedious to change torque
Size: 1-20 Nm
I've owned this torque wrench for over a year. There are many things I like about its design: compact, reliable, good build quality, nice case. The one fly in the ointment for me is that the torque is set at a resolution of 1/100 Nm. So whenever I change the torque setting, it seems to take about 30 sec. of button pressing to specify the torque I want. Press and holding the torque setting button will fast forward the setting, but it often results in an overshoot or undershoot, and them its back to repeated presses to get to the target. It can become tedious if I'm setting several screws or bolts at different torque levels. Why not give the user the ability to specify the resolution he/she wants to work with, so one button press will advance by 0.1 or 1 Nm? I've never had the need to specify a torque in increments smaller than 1Nm myself. I'm not sure when specifying the torque with a precision of 0.01 Nm is ever necessary. ... show more

  • Fail right out of the box.
Size: 1-20 Nm
Maybe I got sent one that someone else had already opened or they broke it, or it just came broken. My battery was already installed which I found strange. I can either set my wrench to 102.4 Nm or 0, there's nothing in-between. I contacted the company that reps TOPEAK in the US and they asked me to send an email to them so they could forward to Taiwan. Awesome. Written instructions are horrible. They don't provide a video for users. So far no good. ... show more
