  • Fits like a Glove
Santa left a brand new Husqvarna Chainsaw under the Christmas Tree & he was wise enough to include this very nice, protective case for it. First, the color is perfect for spotting the saw among all the other tools, keeps dust & dirt off when it is not in use & protects the saw especially the chain & bar. It fits perfectly. Ok value for the $. The assembly is so easy it’s not worth mentioning. It has gotten a lot of use & is holding up fine as it has been on been moved in & out of tool storage, vehicles & on the forest floor. This case is a perfect compliment to the saw ... show more

  • Nice item, Have a problem? Read All. Stihl case fits 455,460 Rancher.
I purchased this case for my new Husqvarns 450 Chainsaws,And received free shipping. The saw fits inside with no issues,And there is room for your Manual,Tools,Extra chains. Yes it is made of a type of plastic,But so are many parts on your expensive car or truck!! The new cases do not have a front latch! Why? Because they improved the latches, Made them stronger and you can get replacement latches if any break. Many plastic cases are made where you can not get a replacement latch, What do you do? Mickey Mouse some type of closure,Or buy a new case. What is wrong with a nice fitting case that works, And you can replace worn or broken latches without buying a complete new case. For those who said "It did not fit my saw" Get specs before you buy, No case fits every model made. Check with Husqvarna or a web site for case part numbers for your chainsaw. If you want a nice molded case for your Husqvarna 455,460 Rancher,A Stihl orange color molded chainsaw case works. I have my 460 Rancher in a Stihl case, the Stihl case looks smaller then a Husqvarna case,But a 455,460 Rancher fits just fine. I wanted a nice fitting carry case for my chainsaw, I looked on Husqvarna's web site for my model chainsaw, And looked for carry cases. Wow! They have descriptions, pictures and part numbers, Write down the number that works for your chainsaw, Then go look on sites for the best price. This Husqvarna case is Very Good!! It fits and protects my 450 chainsaw,Is weatherproof. Price was best I found and free shipping from Amazon. If you think the price is too high, Get a 5 gallon bucket,Drop your saw in and carry it around.. You can get a new orange five gallon bucket at Home Depot for about $5. As far as the toolbox style cases, I do not like them. They look like you made it yourself from a toolbox,If bar oil or gasoline leaks inside it leaks outside. With the molded fitted case, what goes inside stays inside. Lift out your saw and wipe it out with a rag, The toolbox style has folds and corners that takes more time to clean inside, even when fuylly opened. Thanks for reading my review, Best of whatever in your choices. I really like the Stihl Chainsaw molded cases. I have three, with a Stihl MS240, A Husqvarna 240, And A new Husqvarna Rancher 460. They all fit with no issues. ... show more

  • The Case For Husqvarna
Very sturdy case that holds my chainsaw perfectly. I've had this case for years now and it's still holding up and protecting my saw. Also makes transporting it easy.

  • not an exact fit for a Husqvarna 55
not an exact fit for the 55. The place where the bottom of the handle fits into is either not big enough or the case isn't long enough to fit the 55 properly. It works if you wiggle and jiggle and force the latches shut. I have a 2001 55, maybe it's longer than the newer ones, don't know. It's a tight fit but better than nothing. ... show more

  • Great saw, Good power. Starts easy
2 yrs and running. This saw is a very dependable tool. Good power, easy start. 5yrs. I have used this saw less than 6 hrs. I am very careful with my maintenance with all my 2 stroke engines. Oil mix rate. Non-ethanol fuel, Clean saw / air filter. After having owned this saw for 5 years but with very limited run time, I was using it to cut up a lightning struck tree in my yard. After an hour of cutting and dragging, I left the remainder for the next day. The following day my saw would not crank. I am reasonably knowledgeable in 2 stroke repair so I checked the obvious issues (it's usually fuel related) but came up blank. I took my saw to the local Husqvarna dealer for repair. After a couple of days I called the dealer and asked if they had checked it out. I was informed my saw had low compression and would cost more to repair than it was worth. I questioned the advisor and he said it was very unusual for a saw in this condition to have 100 PSI compression ( 170-180 is normal ). I asked if there was any way Husqvarna would assist considering the saw had such low usage. He suggested I reach out to the manufacturer. After 2 emails and 4 days ( website promises 1 to 2 days for response ) I received an email requesting my original receipt of purchase which I provided. After an additional day I received the following response. Response By Email (Brianna) (06/27/2022 01:59 PM) Hello Rick, RE: Reference #: 220620-000590 Apologies for the delayed response. I'm so sorry about the trouble and inconvenience, Rick. We do not decide on warranty online. Our warranty gets taken care of through our service centers and we are always happy to help you with any of the unit's issues under its warranty. I've reviewed the information you have given me and since this is out of warranty, repair or replacement costs may not be covered. I am aware that I was outside the warranty period but I would expect more from a $500 dollar saw and a quality name brand. I am very disappointed in the fact that I purchased a much higher cost saw and only got around six hours of use from it. After years of buying cheaper saws (Poulan, Craftsman) I expected to have this saw for many years. It was a great saw until it wasn't. Husqvarna provided no support. ... show more
